Good interview, interesting he thought Calzaghe was a heavy puncher back in the day, those hand injuries obviously got to him later in his career.

Thanks ,I thought it a great read, he is very open.
I heart Eubank...still my fave boxer of all time for all the great childhood boxing memories he gave me.
Tells it how it is too. Very honest in saying he didn't pursue mccalum or Toney
Toney against Thornton wasn't 'all that'. On that performance, Eubank would've beaten him. Though having said that Eubank in Benn II was suddenly slower, reflexes deteriorating.
HAHAHA Eubank has some cheek talking about how there is to many belts and it's easy to become world champ, but he was the master of useless championship fights.
Yeah I was caught a bit off by that as well...Considering he fought Benn who was a murderous puncher at times....Though if you look back on the early Calzaghe he stopped all but 1 of his opp when he faced Eubank...I always considered Joe a guy who stopped his opp simply on Mass of shots
Thanks for this... Eubank is always a good, honest read.
Early Days Joe could Punch, later He couldnt down to bad Hands.
Pain lasts a only a minute, but the memory will last forever....
