It's clearly an act to just wind people like Daxx & Miles up to see him get beat. He played the nice guy for years & it got him nowhere.

I have to say the funniest thing is people saying he's going 'too far' with this stuff, talking about 'fucking Mosley up'. Er... this is boxing not tiddlywinks, of course they're going to talk like that.

And there is Floyd who picks and chooses and ducks and dives and has the audacity to call himself the greatest of all time? He is not a SRR nor an Ali, not by a long shot. Neither is he a Cotto, or a Mosley, nor even a Pacquiao. The guy is a sham in that regard. These are fighters who will fight proper opponents fight in fight out (though I do have some reservations about Pac). Floyd openly admits that he doesn't give a hoot about legacy and only money. You know what, I believe him when he says that. I don't believe being a complete cretin is the way to build a fanbase nor influence people. I don't like ODLH, but he didn't need to build up his fanbase by 'pretending' to be a vile excuse for a human being. I don't believe it is all an act.

This was a guy who very clearly did care about his fans, he spent ages signing stuff for people who'd waited hours to catch a glimpse of him. I'm amazed that for such an astute guy you haven't caught onto this. Shane Mosley is a nice guy (apart from being a drug cheat of course ), why doesn't he have the following & exposure Mayweather does??

Also given he's fighting Mosley, it would be tough to say he hasn't got a legacy that stands up with the best. It does as does Manny Pacquiao's.

But, then you're buying that how they are in 24/7 is how they are as people. I've heard from a number of people who've met him that Hatton is very rarely the 'man of the people' that he portrays himself to be. Given how dull they were on 24/7, you'd have never guessed that Miguel Cotto was sexually harassing women & Calzaghe had half of Bogota up his nasal passage.

Fight Camp 360 appears to be very much about showing how the fighters really are, 24/7 is about presenting them how we want them to be. It basically operates as a almost WWE-like promotional tool. They're much more determined than Showtime are to create dynamics and good/bad guys.
