I don't know about you guys but all I'm picturing is two guys squatting over buckets taking it in turns to squeeze one out.

Much as that is a pleasant image, I used to associate the word clench with fist...clenching a fist. But thenagain, I haven't used it since I left primary school, but that's what I remember.
