Froch can't sell shit IN his home country
Which is a shame! He's fought 4 very tough fights on the trot, more than any other British fighter and still he is struggling for recognition. It's not as though he has a boring style nor is unwilling to face the best. It's unfortunate.
I dislike him and agree. Say what you want, but he really does seek out the best comp available. I still hope Abraham twats him, but I'd like it if I didn't have to watch the shoddy Primetime coverage to see it.

I never really got Froch originally and still find him strange in interviews, but I have to respect him for the way he goes about things. He's goes about matchmaking the way you wish every fighter would.

Exactly. Abs has to look no further than Mab - Khan to see just how dodgy this country can be and Carl can look at Reid vs Otke. If they cant agree they should go to purse bids or neutral location. Froch pulling out would be embarassing for his career and make a mockery of the tourrnament cuz Bika is not a worthy replacement.

Then again Taylor was 1st to quit Carl may be the second. They are dropping like flies. The last man standing will deserve it.

I'll quit...lol !!!! This guy is starting to sound like one of my kids....i'm sick i don't wanna fight, it's not where i want it i don't wanna fight. My car is scratched i don't wanna fight, I could've taken him out, i shoulda, coulda, woulda, whaaa whaaaaa. Give me a freakin break. You sure didn't mind taking advantage of a green direll in england in a fight most think he lost anyway. I'm growing tired of this guy already
Exactly - What I got from just the title of this thread was "Waaa waaa waaa! Bitch Bitch Bitch!"

Froch is easily one of the most unlikable fighters in boxing in my eyes. Oh you want it back in Nottingham because you felt like you got robbed in Denmark? (Like Direll was robbed in Nottingham?) When clearly you wern't robbed, you're just a disillusioned tool?

When did you become top dog of the sport to start making such demands...heck when did you become the top dog of the super middleweight division??

Yepp, go home Carl and sulk in the corner you twat

Fight Bute in Canada? What is the point in that there is to much reward for to Froch to quit, I think if there is no contract then this will end up in Germany as Abraham creates more money in Germany and lets have it right Fat Mick is a waste of space.
Oh please let him fight Lucian Bute, i'd love to see Bilbo's reaction. When he totally destroys Carl Froch.
Agreed. Froch would look like absolute GARBAGE against a south paw slickster.

at first i agreed with froch that if he had been told the fight with AA was in england then they should stand by it but in all honesty i agree with most of everyones posts here that now he aint champ he aint really got a leg to stand on, if he quiots this tournament he would have to move upto light heavy as everyone is tied up in SM's.

Froch is now asking for a million quid extra to go to Berlin but according to boxing scene the contract he signed rules out any extra payment.

    Also.

Froch can't withdraw from the SS or he'll face legal action/financial penalties.

And neither fighter can be forced to fight in each other's home country so Sauerland are currently talking about a neutral country. However they'd be throwing away over a million quid by doing so. There's also the possibility that the German TV company that have a deal with Sauerland will "demand" the fight is held in Germany. If Froch wants to make the most money he can from the fight he's going to have to go to Berlin.

I don't see it like that at all, it is just it is a must win fight or he is out of the event, so fighting in Germany and the way Froch fights it will be near impossible to get a decision he would need the ko, but the fight should be made where it makes more sense.

Very wise decision considering every current fight has resulted in a hometown result so far

Ward cheated several times over to beat kessler
dirrell feigned injury to get abraham DQ`d
Kessler got a controversial decision over froch

This tournament is just one big mess
    one dangerous horrible bloke

Andre Ward dominated Mikkel Kessler, and it would of made no difference.

Andre Dirrell would of won on points regardless, Arthur Abraham cheated hitting Andre Dirrell when he was down.

Mikkel Kessler got a legit win clear points win over Carl Froch.

Carl Froch got a gift decision, in his hometown vs Andre Dirrell.

This tournament is just one big mess
    Fixed it for you.
