Wayne McCullough pleaded with the doctor not to stop his fight with Oscar Larios because he was so proud of his never been down or stopped record.

Paulie Malignaggi fully accepted Hatton was gonna beat him but protested he shouldn't have a TKO on his record.

Chris Eubank always points out his stoppage loss was due to a closed eye and would have continued if the doctor let him - says nothing to do with his chin.

Lennox Lewis argues he was never knocked unconcious, he was stopped on his feet
    .

    ermm.....well he was wasnt he??
When it was waved off against Rahman, Lewis was on the floor. I watched it last night on KOTV on Channel 5.

The ref stopped the fight instead of counting to 10

Lewis has been floored twice in his career. Both times the ref stopped him and both times he got revenge.

When someone is Knocked out real early it can be an embarrassment or a wake up call that you were not ready and could be hurt. To take a beating and do your best hearing that final bell means that you knew you would make it to the end. My contention is not to hear oops form an early departure in my future and adapt so that I would not get too hurt and make that opponent remember that I wasn't easy so I am guilty of pride through pain.
