Not really overall he has the best resume, except for maybe Mikkel Kessler. But at that time he had just lost to Andre Ward in one sided fashion.

Hown exactly? His best win is against an average fighter who Kessler beat up 4 years ago, Bute has no big names on his resume, Ward is number one he beat the previous number one Kessler Bute has beat decent contenders that is all. He is not number one imo. He is now number three for me.

Andre Ward has one big win and thats it, outside of that who has he beaten ? Edison Miranda over 12 rounds ? who Lucian Bute destroyed in 3 ?
