I don't ever remember Floyd being hit like he was hit in the second. He was definitely in trouble after that shot, so he had to hang on. He really impressed me with how he came back from that, and i think Mosely just worked himself out of his game plan. In one of the 24/7 episodes i think it's Roger Mayweather who said Mosely would be very jittery in his motions, and sure enough he was. He was just searching and searching for a opening but didn't want to get countered so he just looked like his arms were having siezures. My hats off to Floyd, great fight.

I thought he was more buzzed against Corley to be honest.

Watch the round again. Floyd was stunned mentally more than physically. He was stunned thus because of his inability to detect and evade that punch. If you look at his face throughout, you do not see any signs of loss of awareness and position as a result of a hard punch. Yes he was hurt, but 90% of that hurt was surprise and 10% was physical.

Look at Floyd's adjustment from the 3rd round. He began giving Mosely the shoulder. That shoulder protects him from that half over hand right cross that follows a jab. That was Mosely's preferred stock in his tangle with Margarito. It became a white elephant after Floyd measured its range, and made allowance for it.

I thought this was clearly the worst he's even been hurt.

On the whole I don't know exactly what to make of last night. It was a brilliant performance in some ways and Floyd can make guys look old cause of just how good he really is but ffs Mosley was tired at the end of the second round. And he didn't go that nuts when he hurt him. Floyd in a lot of fights has done a great job of wearing a fighter out because throwing and missing tires a guy out but Shane looked arm weary early in this fight. Not sure what to make of it.

Still Floyd is the best fighter in the world IMO. But Pacquaio is a bigger test than Shane and I've said that for a while.
