He's style is VERY regimented. (i hope that's the right word to use )

Alas, many fighters have thought the same thing and none have them have been able to do anything about it. You make it sound like the way Floyd fights is simple and just about anybody should be able to break him down.
I dunno. I don't mean to come across like I have no respect for Floyd as a fighter. I just know him inside out.

    It must be just me

In his own unique way, he does things very much by 'the book'. Move-by-move... I can, quite literally, call his offensive as it unfolds.

Where he excels is in his reactions. That's his little superhuman trait that makes things so damn unbeatable.

So many fighters have fell in to the trap of getting him on the ropes, or getting close and then firing away with clubbing wide shots... I beg why?

Mosley, I hope, can put the emphasis on getting home with the right punches and not in just trying to beat the fight out of Floyd. That may come as a natural progression given Mosley's speed and power... Who knows..?

And yeah, i said 'i hope'
Dream on FHs. I don't mean that Mosely do not have a chance to beat Floyd. But to analyze this fight on a premise that PBF is not a unique and exceptional talent is ludicrous.

A well trained and in form PBF will beat anyone at 147 and under that is fighting today. Tomorrow, as age takes a toll of his reflexis and skill, that certainy wont be possible. But then it will be time defeating him rather than an opponent.
That is why I like the internet. It allows us to revist the conclusions we formed, to examine them juxtapositioned with actual outcomes, and measure our capacity to analyze abilities based on our experiences. It was said in this thread that PBF style was regimented. This was not a sound analysis based on PBF interaction with Zab Judah, Diego Corrales and Castillo. Juxtapositioning PBF post 2nd round adjustments with that history and the assertion that his style was regimental says a lot about the analyctic ability of the person who made such a claim.

Big fukin deal, we all get stuff wrong on occasions.
What bothers me worse is people who like to rub stuff in to try to make themselves appear better than others. When in fact we all know the truth about people who try to rise up in the eyes of a group at another persons expense, whoever they are (right or wrong).

Exactly. This forum would fucking suck if people stopped giving their reasonable predictions about how they think a fight will play out. There's no need to jump all over some one or to rub their prediction in their face just because they were wrong.
