Well it is his life but when you are plastered that bad before the fight and quite early in the night it is quite sad imo, we seem to go over this ground a lot but I think he is a piss head and I don't think there are many days he goes without a drink.

Most of us enjoy a drink or two but like you say, to be getting drunk that early and be looking like such a zombie, it indicates that something is probably not quite right in the world of Hatton. He seems to be surrounding himself with 'yes' men too. It's not that much fun to get yourself hammered as quickly as possible. Most of us stopped that when we were in our teens.

I get drunk all the time before a big fight and find myself stumbling around like an oath. As the fella in the vid has already pointed out ricky has done the hard work and is now enjoying the easy life

I don't get drunk before big fights because they usually start at lunch time. But even then, I have an unspoken rule which means I never drink before 9pm. No one wants to look drunk and silly too early in the night. If you are live at a fight and have got good seats, surely you want to actually watch the fight? I know I would.

I don't drink as much as I used to, but even in my hard drinking era, that was the rule. Don't get me wrong, I like a drink and I'm enjoying a quiet one now, but I'm not sat at the keyboard like a muted walrus. Hatton seems to have gone overboard. Or at least gone a bit weird that night. Either way, these stories seem all too regular for my liking. As a Hatton fan, I would like him to look after himself. Or at least not get so drunk in front of a camera.
