Pac's ready , he'd make it competitive. Let's not get in too much in the Mayweather hype. Sure , he dominated an old Mosley . Not taking anything away from PBF, but Mosley was losing to Mayorga before the ko. So its a pic em fight imo

True, Mayweather is good, but I'm not sold on the Mosley fight. There is always a way to beat a man who will not throw more than 40 punches a round.

exactly , . Floyd was stunned by Mosley , and Pac is a fast starter , so he can catch Floyd early and change the whole fight. And I'll be the first one to say it

Pacman wins almost every round against Mosley .

Yeah, Pac would have eaten this version of Mosley for breakfast. Too old and hesitant by far. I actually think Pac is more than ready for Mayweather, the question is "is Mayweather ready for Pac?". I just can't see Mayweather winning enough rounds, he will need to KO Pac to guarantee the win and nobody has been hurting Pac recently. I don't care about facial bruising, nobody has been really hurting Manny. Sure, his output will be reduced, but no way you will see him throwing 30 punches a round like Mosley. Mayweather likes to wait and Manny is quick enough and active enough to make Mayweather pay.

honestly , i think it'd be a close fight, but I'd still go with Mayweather. He's too big and skilled. but I wouldnt be money on this one . I've bet large amounts of cash on all of Mayweathers recent fights (on PBF) but this one is too close to call.

It's a tough one. I can see it going both ways, but both fighters have this uncanny knack of surprising you. I think too many are dismissing Manny on the back of the Mosley fight though. He will be a lot better than what Mosley was. Mosley always had a few question marks about him with the layoff and age.

Well for sure these will be the excuses when 1 of them loses.

For Manny's supporters: Too small and jumping up too much in weight
For Floyd's supporters: Too old and ring rust

I'm sure these will be the excuses.

Thats true, ppl have been on Floyd on the front and on the back after the Mosley fight.

if pac hurts mayweather like that in the second round, it will be all over for floyd.

Who pac has fought in the past three years is far more impressive than who mayweather has fought. There's no comparison!

I totally agree, if Pac hurts Floyd he'll close it out....BUT those counter rights hurt Shane Mosley and if Floyd is able to hurt Shane then I think he's going to rock the hell out of Manny.

Either way I no longer see this fight going the distance

I dont believe either of their resumes for the past few fights should be considered all star caliber. And while a lot of emphasis on this post seems to be focused on punching power. I think that Floyd's counter punching and more importantly, his 5-6 inch reach advantage will be a major factor. Of course this wont be the first time Pac has fought a man with longer arms, but fighting a guy with longer arms whose primary attacks are the left hand check hook and the straight right hand could spell problems. Maybe if Pac used more lateral movement I would feel better about his chances. Or the fact that Clottey could hit him when he decided during every lunar eclipse to throw a punch. There's no excuse for Manny's face to look like that after that fight.

clottey's offense was irrelevant. pacquiao won almost all the rounds. he dominated clottey and clottey didn't really hurt or wobbled pacquiao.

I hear what your saying but theres no way anyone can say that pac isnt fast, hes so genetically gifted its not even funny and his speed is what seperates him from the rest, this thread is just daft imo how can you say just because hes in the ring with slower fighters it makes him look fast? lets put you in the ring with hatton and see if it makes hatton look like flash fucking gordon lol. manny is fast and i think itll be a long time before we see another fighter matching his speed tbh.
