Sergio Martinez isn't a puncher, neither is Vernon Phillips, Winky Wright. Infact he's only met one puncher in his career Walter Dario Matthysse.
But he was mediocre and he didn't hit as hard as Kermit Cintron, im telling you now Paul Williams wouldn't of been able. To keep getting clocked trying to break down Kermit Cintron, there's a reason why he was so hesistant.
How in the world can you say Williams...who I am no fan of...would of gotten knocked the fuck out just 3,4 rounds in?Based on Cinton hitting him up to that point, punched means nattas if you dont stand ground behind them and have the chest to absorb in return.Martinez may not be a huge banger but he beat the same Cintron twice,ko'd him once...and still got screwed.Cintron was not launching that power and they both waited too much...but the body language was taking shape and Williams was forcing action...we will disagree here.Lets hope for a rematch asap.
I always thought Kermit Cintron had a decent chance, because he's a puncher and Paul Williams is very hittable.
Im telling you if he would of just tried to windmill Kermit Cintron, he would of got KO'ed. Kermit Cintron was releasing the power in round 4, and snapped back the head of Paul Williams.
As i said there was a reason Paul Williams was hesistant. And thats because he's never been in, with someone that powerful and that is fact.
