How Did You Have Ricky Hatton vs Eamonn Magee ?

Im just watching Ricky Hatton's fights again, some of them i haven't seen in years. Like this one and this fight was alot closer than i remember. I only had Ricky Hatton winning by a point, he lost a majority of the early rounds. He comeback strong but he for certain lost the last round, which made it very close especially with the knockdown against him. This fight showed though that Ricky Hatton does have problems vs Southpaws.

that was such a frustrating fight to watch...Magee never seemed to go for the win. Strange fight. Also for me showed he was never going to be a great GREAT fighter getting dropped like that...

Only round he clearly lost was the 1st and that was because of the flash knockdown which im no doubt convinced you saw as a sickening pacquiao esque punch.

No he clearly lost the 2nd and the 12th round aswell, he also won atleast 1 or 2 more rounds. When he made Ricky Hatton miss and countered him. So what are you talking about ? i scored it for Ricky Hatton.

Magee was always a very hard puncher, I can't think of a fight where he didn't buzz someone, no disgrace in getting floored by him, but Hatton clearly outworked him - as I remember it. Although thought Magee could have won if he took more chances.

it's weird because this fight is much closer than i originally thought and the Thaxton fight is less competitive than i originally though. it's just that Hatton's face was a mess that gave the impression that he'd been to hell and back, when in reality he'd pretty much boxed circles round him.
