City of God and City of Men both were masterpieces, the first was better but both are among my favorites and for a sequel with no characters from the first, City of Men did a damn good job. I'll never look at those pictures of Rio the same again.

One of my favourite international films is 'Seven Samurai' by Akira Kurosawa. Just perfection...
It would be hard enough to get HTH to watch a subtitled film by itself, but add to that the fact that it is in Black & White and I think we can safely say there is a better chance of Bilbo not being a pedophile.
I would just like to point out at this time, that it was Oggie, not I, who knew who Pedobear was and who knew where to get stacks of Pedobear images and then added them to Saddo's.

I made one comment (well ok one thread) about finding attractive a girl of legal sexual age, who IS fucking attractive by the way and once her new film comes out next month she'll be all over the news and everyone will agree with me.

She's not a little girl any more.

Nobody really thinks you're a nonce (well i don't). But it's just one of those things that will stay with you, until somebody else says something equally as funny/embarassing/noncey. It's just how life works. Lol.

Have you seen Elite Squad mate? That's decent aswell.

Man of the Year and Lower City are both Brazilian films which are half decent aswell, although not on the same level as City of God or City of Men. Probably worth watching though.

City of God is fantastic, not one for those who like saccharine Hollywood takes on things. I would say the murder of kids in the film would bother HTH, but as none of them are foul-mouthed cockney chubsters I think he'd be fine with it

I'd recommend Bus 174, it's a Brazilian documentary, one of the best I've seen. It really brings to life just how real City of God is.

Speaking of foreign films has anybody seen Un Pophete and The Girl with the Dragon Tatoo?

I've downloaded both but not watched them, but have been told by people who have seen them that they are both brilliant films. I was going to read the books before watching Dragon Tatoo but might watch Un Prophete over the weekend.

I know Pan's Labrythinth is meant to be spectacular as well....
