I was impressed with the fact that James De'Gale had the bollocks to box in front of a load of cock-er-nees, in East London, wearing pink shorts.

    Fair play.

James looked like a quality fighter although he should work on his basic boxing skills at this level because when he moves up in class he will need to have plan B and C in his locker.

He can be quite good but I haven't been overly impressed with him to this point. That pawing jab did my head in the other night, it looked awful and was ineffective. He just looked sloppy, getting caught with shots he shouldn't have been. Fair enough if he was trying diferent things in there, but he didn't look great IMO. I think he has the skill and ability to do well, but up to now I haven't seen anything that excites me

James had no respect for that bus driver he was in with and you could see that in his boxing. He was walking forward looking for the KO which he eventually got.

Problem is, if he has too many of those fights he could pick up bad habbits and even worse he may walk onto one because he isnt expecting anything back. Theres more to his game than what we saw on Sat.

I think he looked great and his hand speed is looking amazing some of those combo's! I think he could do Groves!

For some reason I'd quite like to see him get beat. Just don't like him much.

His punch delivery is horrible ,he slaps and chops and smothers his own work , hmmmmmmmm maybe he should relocate to south Wales and join Enzo Calzaghe, he will be comended for his work.,

I think he looked goodish, about what I expected. He is better but he was clearly experimenting. I only noticed his slapping style for the first time on saturday though. Can't understand why a fighter would rather hit with the inside of his hand rather than with the knuckles, but it worked for Calzaghe so can't really complain too much at his career!!

Not sure about who would win in him and Groves now they are Pro's, i'm leaning for Groves but it will be a few years before they meet and either could improve a lot more than the other in that time.
