one dangerous horrible bloke
Tua has wasted like ten years since the Lewis fight and the only good thing in fighting a bum like this is if he were fighting them every two weeks to get back in shape for awhile, then take on a top ten guy in six months. Total wate of a fight and a career.

What a waste of time this fight is.Barrett has turned into a heavyweight punchbag over the last 3 fights and he was never that good a fighter in the first place.

I think Tua still has 2 more fights with Maori TV over here, so lookout for at least another fight of this stature before he moves onto the bigger money fights. Its been good for him here in NZ because his fights have been shown live on free to air TV on he is starting to regain a following again after being of the radar for a few years with inactivity.
Tua blows Barrett away in 1!!!
At this point I still think Tua's dangerous for anyone in the top 10, bar the Klitschko's!

When you beat Monte Barett you are the chosen one and ready for a title match. its true, all the heavyweights that have fallen to monte barrets career is over or fighting on ESPN.
Dominick Guinn, Joe Mesi(controversial decision), Owen Beck, Hasim Rahman. If you don't dominate Barret it ruins you.
So once Tua dominates him he is the chosen one savior that will save us from the Klits even though it will never happen![]()

Tua is already talking about his next fight after Barrett, possibly within 8 weeks of that fight. He is looking to step up after his contract commitments are met & mentioned Arreola as a possible opponent, but with the Maori TV contract its hard to attract top opponents for the crap money...
Once the contract has expired you'll see a higher caliber of opponent!

Barrett deserves great credit for this hardest puncher in the world survey he's doing.
