More detail please? More facts? Immigrants from everywhere? whats the problem? Most are from America and Austrailia, is that ok?
Most don't have skills? On what do you base that?
I'm presuming you are smart enough to know that those from the EU are as free to live here as we are, so, what particular section of non-EU immigrants do you have an issue with?

Overview: Net immigration has added 1.5 million people to the population over the last 10 years. Two-thirds of them have come from the continents of Asia and Africa. In 2006 the total UK population was 60.6m. If net immigration continues at its current rate, as the government actuary's department calculates, the total population in 2031 will be 70m, and by 2081 it will be 85m.

The numbers: People born overseas account for about 10% of the population. This is up from just more than 6% in 1981 and just over 8% in 2001. This is compared with 24% in Australia, 23% in Switzerland, 19% in Canada and 13% in America. In France that figure is 8%, and 7% in Denmark.

The people: In 2006 the largest numbers of immigrants were born in Africa and the Middle East (3% of the working age population) and the Indian sub-continent (2.5%). Those born in the east and central European EU member states – the A8 - made up 1% of the working age population. Today A8 immigrants account for one in three of new immigrants since 2004.

Me personally, i have a issue with people taking up are land and not working for it but hay im sure your cool with people moving into a country to enjoy there benefit system?

Good googling. You might have wanted to proof read it first though as it doesn't all aid your argument.

    What makes it 'are land'?

And yes, I am happy to have a more diverse nation.

I thought the issue was with our economy, not our diversity though?

The question is how many people can our economy support and cater for, culture shouldn't have anything to do with it.

Look an argument/discussion over the internet proves nothing so this is a big waste of time lets say me and you meet at this address for a fight......lol It may be a minority but i think with a better immigration system in place we would be less likely to be attacked by terrorists inside our country.

There is not a shread of evidence that supports that.
    Don't be brainwashed.

What immigration system would you like to see? I think we have a pretty good one.

So there taking the jobs, if there not taking the jobs they are on benefits and now they are terrorists. You just missed taking our women and you sound like the BNP/NF.

To be honest I don't care if they have a trade or not.

The one Tory policy I support is an immigration cap... if there are so many more people in the country than there are jobs then why allow any people to come in to compete for the few we have and live off benefits either indefinitely or until they find a job somebody else needs too?

It's not helping anybody except those who chose to come here.

If a guy in Iran is a joiner and Joiners over here can't get work then how does the country benefit from his skills by having him chose to come here?

If we're short of brain surgeons let brain surgeons in... if the nation needs it and it's mutually beneficial then great, but we already have 1000s of people who can fill shelves in asda and work a till in a garage etc... so I do agree, I don't see why we need skilless people immigrating.

Fair enough if this country actually produced something then a bigger work force would aid an economy, but we don't manufacture or cultivate anything...
