They both have underachieved so far in their career in terms of the expectations put on them.

They both have had their mentality questioned because ever since their careers started they were put in the same breath as the greats. But have yet to show the mentality of them.

The difference is, LeBron is still in his 20s and could still prove everyone wrong and win some rings and still go out with a great career. He has the talent to do it. But Lebron won't ever live up to the huge expectations put on him(the next MJ the greatest basketball player in the last 10 years in this era etc etc and honetly who could?) but there is still time for LeBron to accomplish great things in the playoffs and the finals.

But to get back on the subject of Zab Judah, since you and I can debate NBA back and forth in PMs. This is what I think about Zab.

Zab Judah is in his 30s and is never gonna live up to what people think he will and the next time he steps up he is gonna get beat again and his career will be over.

Zab Judah has become the standard of talent never making it to the top truly.

LeBron James still has a lot of time, 10 more years maybe even, and I hope for his sake and his fans sake that he doesnt 'Zab Judah' his career.

But Zab's career is done. LeBrons is just beginning so thats the major difference.

Still, my point about Zab stills stands, batman talent, robin mentality.
So he's not like Zab Judah yet?

I really don't get what you are saying, Lebron is a choke artist to level of Judah because of a bad two games, one of which he still got a triple double.

And Robin mentality means Judah is a sidekick? A teen titan? What does that mean?
Nope LeBron isnt Zab yet because his career isn't done, but so far in his career he has underachieved in the same kind of ways.

The thing is I don't get the pass LeBron gets either. Remember a few years ago when Kobe was averaging 35 points a game and the best player on his team was Smush Parker. When Kobe would have triple doubles or magnificent scoring performances and his team would still lose(like the Cavs did) all that was said was that he was a selfish player and not MVP material etc. He changed all that over the course of a few years. However I watch LeBron who has a better team then Kobe did those years and even his team was the number 1 team record in the NBA for the last two years. The Cavs lose and people say "oh well LeBron still got his triple double." if LeBron hadn't gotten a triple double and his team had won I think he'd deserve more credit then him getting a triple double and his team still losing.

But as far as LeBron being Zab Judah, not yet but he still has yet to show the mentality of a champion or a great which floats him around there. But he still has a chance to change all of that. Zab Judah cannot.

And the statement Batman talent, Robin mentality. It means he has all the talent in the world but has yet to show he is a winner yet.

Maybe this is a better reference. He's more Pippen, then Jordan. Anyway I've sent you a Pm so we can keep debating basketball. However I do think if LeBron plays with Wade next year he has a much better chance at making the finals cause how much better of a team could u give him then he has on the Cavs? He has Mo Williams and Antawn Jamison who else could you get? He could have had Amare Staudimire but they decided to Keep JJ Hickson instead because they felt it was better for them, Farajao was having the best year of his career. Who else could LeBron get to get himself a title aside from someone like Dwayne Wade?

So as far as Judah goes.

the "How good could Zab been if" I don't think anything could have saved his career. He didn't have the mentality of a great. There are people with less talent then him that accomplished more then he did and talent had nothing to do with it. He just mentally isn't a great. That is what is being questioned about LeBron right now, talent is there(stats prove that as is said) but the mentality of a great isn't. But with LeBron you can always put a 'yet' at the end, with Judah, there is no 'yet' because his career is too far to be revived.
