Our defense has looked shit for ages, we were horrendous against Japan. And not that much better vs USA, no disrespect to the yanks. But we really should be comfortably beating teams like the USA, i think we will win the group. But thats about it, there's easily about 8 teams playing better than England currently, unless we seriously improve which i doubt, this will be another disappointing run, our 1990 squad was better.

I thought Australia were shit in the warmup game we played them in (I mean we scored 3 and could have had like 7 and cmon we may be ok but were not high scoring) and Cahill as a lone striker, really, but Germany were great to watch. I still don't see them winning it. But they will be fun to watch.

We didn't beat Brazil recently No Contest. We went up 2-0 at halftime and lost 3-2. But maybe we should just act like the second half didn't happen.

The Dutch just played. They looked pretty good from what I saw since Denmark aren't bad. If we don't win it then I want the Dutch too.

I wasn't impressed with the Dutch. Seemed a sloppy disjointed performance for the most part, I have all types of bets on them though so maybe over critical.

Germany was well impressive, even if it was just the pony Aussies. Come on the Germans!!!

I only caught it from the 65th minute on, I thought they looked pretty good then. I didn't realize their first goal was an own goal.

Italy were better second half although the keeper for Paraguay had a shocker for the Italians goal.

I was embarrased for Denmark, what was that guys thinking? Theres so many other things he could have done in that position. Your right , I could have swore we beat Brazil, shows how much I'm up on the sport. Well we at least gave em a game.

Personally, I'm worried about the North Korean team tonight against Brazil....you've got to think that they won't really be up to the job, and that they will get battered. But what will their crazy leader do when they get home has to be a stress for them.

Apparently Rob Green trained for 3 hours yesterday. He had 2000 shots fired at him and did not concede a single goal.

Today him and Emile Heskey will train with the rest of the squad.

Yeah, he's saving that magic up for game day

I heard Ledley King was out for the next match....any truth to that?

Did anyone see Slovenia play? What did they look like? Do you think the US will have trouble with them?

    *whoosh*

In terms of Slovenia...pretty good defensive side but i don't think the US will have many problems to be honest.

Look at the Kiwi's giving Slovakia a go....I figured New Zeland would lose like 7-0 or something
