I agree with Ono and Oggie really. The right to freedom of speech extends to all, not only to those who have the same opinion as you.

The fact we alllow our citizens to protest things is fundamentally important to our democracy. I certainly don't want to live in a nation where freedom of speech is outlawed.

I do think both the UK and US use imagery of the heroic and brave soldier dying to defend our lands as a kind of emotional shield to deflect any and all criticism of our government's actions.

I'm not saying that Small was right to protest but I do think we as a nation are right to allow him.
