Jameel McCline started late didn't he?

I believe both were in prison.

Yes and Ron Lyle damn near died in prison from being stabbed....he was a tough mofo and well skilled considering how late he started.

McCline was pretty decent as well for a late starter

Sven Ottke turned pro three months shy of his 30th birthday.

Had over 300 amateur fights. From age 31 to 36 he defended his titles 21 times.
