Do you reckon they've cottoned on to the fact that we're not laughing with them, we're laughing at them. There's a part of me that feels sorry for them because they clearly know very little about what they've been put forward to represent, and are being influenced by others. Still, their opinions are nothing short of disgusting. And the lack of amusing spoon anecdotes was a big letdown.

I think the whole idea of being disenfranchised with modern Britain is a bit of a fallacy to be fair. We are in what is essentially the second generation since the last world war. The last generation was raised by those who had been there and those who bore the scars Even thirty years ago for normal people to have the chance to state their opinion to a wide reaching media was still a few years away.

We're in the first generation when free speech is really coming into its own. Sadly, free speech doesn't always mean coherent or logical speech. It's not a bad thing, and one of the rights all our grandfathers fought for, but media access for all will lead to this kind of thing.
