I'm a bit surprised that is allowed as competition headgear. It appears to not have enough open face, and I've seen them refused before because of it (in Canada). For most advancing tours you are wearing what they provide so it doesn't matter. the brand is usually "top ten", as well as the gloves. But also, I have seen these types go thru on club shows. Just not if I'm against them and wearing open face cuz i'll bring it up. I want an equal playing field.
