I don't remember any of that. I cried lots of tears after the 1990 loss, I Remember nothing since. Just the way it is.

Man that flipped the script a bit, Brazil just imploded out there. They were looking top form one minute and then like a bunch of first graders trying to do calculus the next.
For every story told that divides us, I believe there are a thousand untold that unite us.

Fair play to the Dutch, nothing like a big upset! Great heart to pull themselves back into it.

Diego Forlan just scored one of the goals of the tournament so far to equalize for Uruguay, absolutely quality player.

I can't figure out if that last PK was incredibly ballsy or incredibly stupid. Both really. I mean you better fucking make that

Ghana should have won that match, that guy will never ever forget missing that penalty. Suarez was crying leaving the field but doing cartwheels down the tunnel when he saw the penalty miss.

Suarez will be like a hero when he arrives home, stroke of genius really.
Fair play to Uruguay, good to see one of the old powers rising again! Thought they looked the better of the two teams over the entire match. They'll probably be absolutely shattered for the next match though!

Argentina vs. Germany is kicking off in a little over an hour, can't wait.

Well, Germany just about managed to scrape past the Argies. It was touch and go there for a while...

    Makes England's result seem OK.

What a battering At the beginning many peeps were laughing at me when I said Germany had more collective arsenal to get further than Spain or Argentina, well, there we are (though Spain is still in the race). But wow... a good afternoon to watch it on giant screen when a couple of german lads, I think I'll hit Berlin or something if they make the finals.

You know, I know that a lot of soccer players are smaller than most American athletes, or spend less time in weight training, etc. I know that. And yet still Xavi doesn't even remotely resemble a professional athlete to me. He looks like a tax lawyer.

I can't explain why and I know it is completely irrational, but for some reason I absolutely hate Xavi and his 800 short passes per match.
I know he is a quality player with great vision and creativity etc... but I just despise him.

    That is all.

I kind of get that, at times I'm just kind of like get along with it ffs, do something, take a shot, etc.

Wow Spain are in trouble, if Paraguay makes this penalty they can just bunker and they are tough to score against.

And for fuck's sake, thank you for a ref finally calling a penalty on that kind of bullshit grabbing in the box. What the fuck are you doing Pique?

    Oh he saves it. Wow.
