Actually. I think he never really wanted to fight any of the two, just wanted to be heard about and to make a name for himself in any way possible, now he'll go with the few HW he can beat and will run off with the money. I am almost certain at this point that he wouldn't even dare to fight a Thomasz Adamek.

Which is probably exactly what will happen.

The sad thing is, if he had got his shot at Valuev, then said he wanted to defend it a few times before taking on the big K's, no one would have minded. We would have probably understood his reasoning.

But because he has continued to call them out, he just look weak now.

I actually think he would make a fool of Vitali so I don't know why he can't set that fight up.

Do boxers actually give a shit about their legacy anymore or is it soley about cashing up as much as possible? I understand it's a short career, but you would think you would fight for free to have a chance of fighting the best there is and being undisputed world heavy champ??

I think Haye will fight a credible opponent like Adamek.

And I mean that "EVENTUALLY Chicken Little will fight someone like Adamek" ...but didn't he have that chance at cruiser

I think Chicken Little MAY end up fighting someone more along the lines of Odlanier Solis (who's shape is coming into question), David Tua, or (depending on his fight vs Wladimir) Povetkin....maybe Eddie Chambers. I think he's a lot like Ricky Hatton, he wants big money but wants to avoid Cotto at all costs.

Lefty, I gave that dude a chance 2 years worth of a chance. Surely I talked my fair share of shit about him but in that time he cannot be found fighting anyone dangerous at cruiserweight or elsewhere! He has talked all he can but even you must certainly realize that he's ducking both Klitschko's and that he has not yet fought ANYONE with any power in the division.

    waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaghhhhhhhhhhhhhh!

    waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaghhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!

    waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaghhhhhhhhhhhhh!

When ever I read these david haye threads in my head it all get's translated in to the sound of a baby crying it's eyes out......

It's simple. Haye is champ and he's not going to be dictated to. Haye is propbably the biggest draw in heavyweight boxing especially now HBO have dropped the bum fighting klitschos' saying the the only fight of their's that they will televise is one with haye. This changes things in a big way, especially when it comes to fight payment and negotiation.

I believe someone already asked about how many big stadiums the Diva has sold out...Wlad put 50K in the stadium when he fought Eddie Chambers so let's not act like Chicken Little is the big money draw of the division right now Chicken Little is as big as he can get without fighting a Klitschko or Adamek and its looking like he won't ever fight those guys and if you're a fan of Chicken Little I don't see how you can defend his actions. He's made a name for himself by talking shit and running away and that's what you want in a heavyweight champion?

HBO is only bothered by the Klitschko's fighting in Europe which makes the tv schedule difficult to deal with. Ross Greenburg said "If they have big fights in the US or the fights fans want to see most (vs the Diva or Adamek) HBO will pick them up"...is Chicken Little vs Audley Harrison going to be on HBO? Was the fight vs Barrett? Bonin? Valuev? Ruiz?.....then I rest my case

Would klitscho vs audly harrison be on HBO? no it wouldn't. what about klit vs barrett or bonnin or valuev?

Sorry what was you point again? Cuz that held as much water as a siv.

Haye hasn't announced his next fight yet so I don't have to defend his actions. all you're doing lyle other than whining and bawling like a little baby is speculating.

#1 Just read that Bernd Boente said that Wlad is so pissed with HBO that he won't fight on their channel ever again.

#2 I'm sorry allow me to explain, in recent years The Klitschko's have had the biggest heavyweight fights on HBO a network I might add that has only shown YOUR BOY in 1 promo.

#3 If Chicken Little won't fight: The Klitschko's, Adamek, or even Sam Peter, and Povetkin then who the hell cares about the guy? The Audley Harrison fight may not be signed yet but it may as well be because the dude won't fight anyone worth a damn.

Mike Tyson finally knows who the WBA title holder is and he said "he (Chicken Little) should fight top level opponents before trying to fight a Klitschko"

Tyson also said "He's not ready"

If this chump won't at least fight the Sam Peter(s) or Odlanier Solis(s) of the division then his run at heavyweight is a giant waste of time.

I just don't know with Haye, I just think he has changed his attitude/priorites after moving to Sky.

This just doesn't seem like the same guy we saw coming threw to beat Mormeck in his own backyard three years ago. I do think Haye would of fought Wlad last june if Setanta didn't fold, i don't doubt his courage or balls at all. I think he has shown that with fighting Mormeck, and I suppose in hindsight it was easy fight in reality v Enzo, but at the time Haye was if I remember a 4/6 fav basically a 50/50 and alot of people fancied Enzo add to that he was fighting for Warren with no options, no matter what anyone says if you are fighting against a fighter whose represented by the promoter whose show it is and especially a show with Frank Warren your work just became that bit harder. So Haye has shown he is deffo means business.

I think where this all changed for him and his team was when he moved to sky and the Valuev fight, he went from fighting for £250k against Enzo to 18 months later to earning close to six million if you believe what you read, him and his team have obviously looked at this and thought fuck me we just earnt siz million quid fighting an average champ and not even in are own country, only 12 months earlier Haye was fighting Monte Barrett in his hometown and could just about fill half of the 20 thousand capacity and that was mainly due to the fact they were offering a buy one get one free ticket.

Haye and Booth are not stupid all this hard man talk from Haye and Booth is all well and good but there not daft men and they no boxing inside out, they no Haye is very much the outsider v both Klits and if he was to fight them and be sparked ( I very much fancy them chances ) them nine figure pay days wil be a thing of the past.

If Setanta survived we would now of been probably talking about Haye's chin issues after being sparked by Wlad or even where do you rank Haye all time after beating one or even both the brothers, but the folding of Setanta has made Haye a very very rich man and given him the chance now to make alot more with or without the Klits. It is obviously bad for boxing and what is so wrong about the sport the best should fight the best, and it happens all the time they rarely do. But this is also a huge business and Haye is playing the game well.

But i 100 percent believe Haye is made of the good stuff and is not the sort of fighter to be scared of any fighter, but how many people do you think are telling him to do this it makes sense etc etc, Haye is only one part of brand Haye.
