I don't even know what to think anymore. I used to think both promoters were just delaying to build up hype, then I started to think Mayweather is the one delaying it himself cause of his massive ego, now I'm starting to believe it has something to do with Roger and his charges. In the end, I'm just losing interest and am tired off all the BS that's going along with making this damn fight happen already. If they won't fight each other, throw them in the ring with someone so we can see them in some shape or form. They're both getting old and all this posturing is taking time away from seeing these two all-time greats.
    Agreed 100%.

This is so old and boring, this is not boxing discussion, this is soap opera discussion. I hope that Pac gets a diff opponent quickly. Then retires so we can all say Mayweather ducked him and hang that over his career forever.

I always gave Floyd the benefit of the doubt when it came to his opponents (except Marquez) but if either man goes without this fight, it will hurt Floyd's legacy more. That's just my opinion. Even though Floyd stood in the shadows, Pac and his team made it very clear how much they wanted this fight. Now Floyd can continue to use the "all roads leads to Floyd Mayweather," "I don't call anyone out, they call me out," or "I'm not looking behind me, I'm on top" lines he wants cause Pac is the one giving in to Floyd's ego.

I really really hope all this delaying is cause of Roger's case...

Well floyd has legit resons for not wanting to fight anyone at the mo what with Roger's legal problems.

Floyd is still the best pound for pound fighter on the planet. If pac wanted this fight he should have taken it months back instead of shitting himself about the drug tests and backing out to fight clottey.

This could easily go down in history as the greatest fight that never happened. If Roger doesn't go to prison Floyd will be ready to fight but something tells me pacquiao won't be. One of the combatants will always some issue that will keep them apart.

I'd be very interested to see what floyd does if roger get's sent down. He may retire.

Did that reason come from Floyd or his team or is it your assumption? Just asking.

A day or two ago another article came out on ESPN boxing where Leonard Ellerbe challenged Arum to tell him when did negotiations took place recently specially after Arum is saying everything about the blood tests have been agreed and then refusing to go into details. We all know Bob Arum is not really your most honest person out there (a guy who defends a cheat, go figure). I am not sure who to really trust in all this or who's saying the truth or lying.

People said Floyd was afraid of ODLH, after some long drama, they met in the ring. People said Floyd was avoiding Mosley and after going back and forth, they met in the ring.

i think all of this misinformation concerning mayweather jr. from bob arum is an attempt to save face for pacquiao. why in the world would pacquan alledgedly agree to do up to the fight drug tests now instead of six months or so ago? the fact is this, bob arum knew roger mayweather's trial was coming up and so he made up this crapola about pacroido wanting the fight now? arum knows mayweather jr. will not fight anyone without his trainer, roger. this is just an attempt to discredit mayweather jr. and make it look like he's afraid of pacroido, where in fact, it was pacroido who was afraid of taking a itty bitty blood test before. and the sad thing is, pacroido's fans are eating all this crapola up. just goes to show how ignorant and uninformed and shallow his fans are!!!

Arum is definitely a snake. He is a promoter. I just don't like how Ellerbe is trying to save face here. How can they say we didn't hear anything about negotiations when all this talk about what Pac and his team is willing to do to make the fight is out there in all the boxing sites. So if you hear Pac submitting to your demands and you currently aren't in formal negotiations then you wouldn't follow up on it? C'mon, Ellerbe and the rest of the Golden Boy team is just playing dumb...

No it's stating the blindingly obvious.

Steve Farhood & Bill Dettloff made some interesting points, the main one being that 75% of what we think we know is probably pure bullshit. The person I want to hear from is Ross Greenberg because we was apparently the 'negotiator' so he can shed light on what did or didn't happen.

They also interestingly mentioned 3 other occasions when the #1 & #2 P4P guys have fought in the past. Hearns-Hagler, Spinks-Tyson & Whitaker-Chavez. On none of those occasions did the fight take place when people first called for it, with Tyson-Spinks being the shortest, happening a year after talks began. I mean Hearns-Hagler took 3 years before they finally fought.

So, it means Floyd didn't say it .....

Why the heck didn't Floyd 'loudmouth' Mayweather just say it himself??!!

At one point in time the rumor was that Floyd needed the money so what's the problem, sign on the dotted line and call Manny names until fight night. If you screw around with the fan's budget remember this Floyd there are other fighters that hold our interest and your fifteen minutes of fame isn't worth it's weight in sh** if you don't fight often and with the proper opponents. You are not boxing you are a by product just like those ingredients in the so called all meat dog foods.
