one dangerous horrible bloke
I am in love with Miguel Cotto and have never had my heart broken.
This is a bit of a tarts thread ain't it?
it hurt, mainly due to the fact i realised that i had advised all my mates to get on hatton to win and they had thus spent hundreds on my advice
I wasnt worried about their loss of earnings, silly c*nts shouldnt listen to me - but i was concerned with my physical well being![]()

I really can't get into one fighter or team serious enough to loose a night of sleep over them. I don't know, work for or am i related to any of these guys. And i'd say about 99% of these athleates could really give a crap about fans when it really comes down to it. I'm a fan i watch and follow but that's about it. Shit you can't even collect trading cards anymore cause these guys in sports switch thier loyalties so much. Yet i've seen people willing to start fights, talk shit, sell thier firstborn for some fighter that doesn't even know they exist.......yet do all that and call them to support you in any way in any area of your life, and see how loud that dial tone gets....

I think the only way this can happen is if you're a huge fan of a fighter, and then he does something completely out of character, like give up in a fight, or stops taking fighting seriously and embarrasses himself out there. Otherwise, it's more of a dissapointment but at a lesser level. To me, when Cotto fired his uncle and took on his physical trainer, Joe Santiago... that was a bit of a disappointment. And the results showed, 'cause Cotto took entirely the WRONG gameplan into the Pacquaio fight. Then he went out and hired Emanuel Steward, which is wonderful, but a little like closing the barn door after the horse is gone. But nonetheless... he's back on the right track and I admire him for correcting a mistake.
Even though he won, Jerry Quarry's fight with Lorenzo Zanon was heartbreaking to watch becuase by then , Jerry's reflexes were totally shot and he was in thr beginning of Pugislistica Dementia though few realiez it at the time.
