How good is Chad Dawson?

I am gonna go ahead and say Cloud can beat Bad Chad at this moment in time. This is boxing and Dawson while very good technically, doesn't have the intangibles like killer instinct. If Chad trys to fight at all with Cloud he could get in trouble, so I predict another jab/movement fight, crowds gonna boo in this one again I think.

My worry about Cloud is that his fight vs Glen Johnson will not be easy and he could fall into the same trap that Yusaff Mack fell into. You HAVE to box a bit vs Johnson and Cloud hasn't shown that he's smart enough yet. Believe me I LOVE the way Cloud fights but he's very vulnerable to Johnson. because Glen has good defense a great chin and can counter solidly...he also won't let you rest in the ring with him.

Cloud vs Dawson I think would be a hell of a fight...Chad is quick and good on defense but Cloud is aggressive and powerful. I would love to see Cloud-Pavlik which is also under consideration by Pavlik's team.

Chad is a brilliant boxer and has the potential to clean up the division. Pascal fight is going to exciting, but Chad has beaten the best fighters out there and Hopkins is just avoiding him.

Really ? Tavoris Cloud to me seems like another Jeff Lacy, although he picks he's punches better.

Well I think his attack is more versatile, his hands are faster, and because of that his punches are sharper/crisper. But he has been looking very onesided recently and that will be a problem vs Johnson.

I said could, he has the power to put Chad on queer st. You saw Johnson take Dawson to deep waters the first fight, too late though after losing early rounds. Cloud will have a better pace I think.
