It was nice to go and buy some mints and have the shopkeeper make polite small talk. Very nice. I like simple things like that. The older people also have really good manners. The younger people are hit and miss, but on the whole I didn't see too many of those roaming gangs of kids. We only went to nice places though, so I may have sheltered myself somewhat.
I was surprised by the sheer numbers of foreign people on the streets of London. I had never realised that English could be a minority language. Some of those Europeans have very nice figures BTW. That reminded me of Korea a bit except the breasts are a bit more rounded in Europe. The touristy thing doesn't excite me that much but I quite liked seeing some of the buildings. St Pauls is lovely, as is York Minster. I was a bit creeped out climbing to the top of St Pauls though. I thought the Tower of London was a steaming pile of poo. Far too busy and quite dull all in all. Brighton was nice with decent weather and I went on some of the rides on the pier. I also chatted with an old man who was telling me that the fishing in nearby Worthing has been getting progressively worse. I had quite a few casual chats with random people and quite liked it. I even went to see Oliver in London to try and live up to my toff nosed middle class popular image. Some of the dancing was quite spectacular. Not so keen on some of the songs mind.
All in all a great trip and I am well stocked up on CD's and books. The UK ain't so bad.
