Yes Paret died after falling into a coma following the fight. I think it was about 2 weeks later, not sure but definitely fatal.Originally Posted by erics44

Absolutely. In fact had it happened in this day and age it probably would. It was a very high profile fight at the time. There were so many people being blamed too, but IMO the ref made the biggest mistakes and still I don't know what he could have been thinking.
