Default What's the freakiest thing you have seen?

I've seen a few freaky things, but on the flight from Doha to Korea I experienced something very unusual. I was just sitting in my seat flicking through the inflight entertainment when I noticed the seat in front of me shaking. Next thing, the girl next to him let out a scream and the guy in front suddenly had his head inbetween their seats and I could see his eyes rolling back in his head. He could have been dead for all I knew. I called over a stewardess and the next thing I noticed the vomit dripping between the seats onto my wifes shoe. Quite disgusting really. The guy wasn't actually dead and was ushered out. All of us who were effected by the scene stood up and looked equally unnerved. There was so much vomit on the seats of the two people sat next to the man that they had to pull out the seats completely and get the gloves on to clean up all the affected areas. My wifes shoes were a mess and she had to wear their silly airline slippers. That too looked quite silly and she wasn't happy at all. I was quite okay, but unfortunate enough to witness the faux-death spasm. It wasn't nice. I mean, he looked like he had popped his clogs and I have never seen anyone die before. Anyway, the guy turned out to be okay, but had apparently had some kind of epileptic fit. He shouldn't have been sat in the middle of an aisle seat really. So, I thought I would share that delightful scene with you all.

Have you ever witnessed any weird situations like that before? I've seen old men peeing in the Korean countryside before, but this was far more worrying. I'm talking about distressing scenes here.

I once got home from the KFC and opened my extra large value meal and the fuckers behind the counter had forgotten to put my fries in

The image of that vacant corner of the box where my chips should have been still haunts me to this day.

That was probably my most distressing sight I have witnessed in my 38 years on earth - and it will take something major to top it.

A freaky, as in disturbing thing I've been watching online this week are some of the Nixon tapes.

That guy was like Darth Vadar level evil, almost a stereotype of the dark villain

There's a conversation he has with Kissinger where he say's 'Let me make this clear, I don't give a damn about the civilian casualties! I really could not care less!' when talking about the Vietnamese.

In another meeting he asks Kissinger 'Can we destroy the dikes, that would drown people? How many?', then before Kissinger can answer he follows up with ' Of course I'd rather just use a nucleur bomb, have we got that ready yet?',

Kissinger then tries to warn against the idea saying 'I really think that would be a bit much', to which Nixon interuppts 'God Damn Henry! I just want you to think big for Christ's sake!'

Another interesting video he is talking about Jewish and Negroe spies. He talks about how the Jews are born spies because they are arrogant and have a malignancy about them (of course that won't be shocking to you Miles), but then he notes that negroes don't make good spies, and agrees with an aide that it is probably because they are not intelligent enough.

Seriously the guy was a fucking racist, crazed loon!

It makes me really worry about the World Trade Centre, imo it HAS to have been an inside job. The US have been shown to have done this kind of thing too many times in the past. The Gulf of Tonkin incident, the allowance of the bombing of Pearl Harbour so they could retaliate, and now Nixon's own evil words.

By the way Miles, you must watch the Most Dangerous Man In America about Daniel Elsberg, brilliant documentary.

In it Elsberg makes a really moving point, when he says the most upsetting thing that could happen to him was when he blew the lid of the Vietnam War scandals, and gave the public the truth, and that they could see it, and understand it, but that they wouldn't care anyway and just wouldn't be bothered.

The scene then moves on to the election and Nixon gets reelected back into governement by a massive landslide winning 49 of the 50 states

The same thing happened in Bush's second term when despite all the damning facts revealed in Michael Moor's doc the American people just didn't care. They saw it, they learnt the truth, and cared not and voted him back in again anyway.

Elsberg was right I think when he said this was his saddest discovery, to learn about the human nature of his fellow man.

Oh, and in Manchester Picadilly they have what I can only assume are open urinals in the street. I didn't look too closely because it just seemed a bit wrong, but I'm sure there were grown men pissing into them. If anyone from the Manchester area can enlighten me on this I would be very grateful as it just seemed a bit weird. Maybe my mind was playing tricks, but as it is am sure there are open toilets in the middle of the Manchester city centre.

Have half a mind to make this a ten page thread right out of the box but a quick one was my raging ex girlfriend jumping out of her Chevette at 2 am one morning after seeing me stumbeling down the street with some buddies....we we're tripping balls ala acid and she opens the door, yells my name and starts running full steam at me. Everything was all distorted and she looked like a cartoon, features exagerated as often happened while peaking on a trip....we just broke out in uncontrolled laughter pointing and falling over, tees rolling down my cheeks and hearing this high pitched wailing scream she had. She was flailing and swinging a ( later found out) butter spreading knife she had....I couldn't make out what she was saying because it all sounded French but she was filled with anger. Nothing is as it seems in that state and the smallest thing is funny to say the least... I start to look at her and mock imitate her actions and waving hands all the while laughing to the point of drooling almost, my buds were by now sprawled out in the grass medium in hysteria, one had actually opened her passenger door and was having a field day with the dashboard pulling off the knobs. It all as quickly ends, she hits me and yells one last then speeds away nearly dragging dude along as he falls out, door open rounding the corner and we just stand there looking stupid and not knowing or caring what had happened . My shirt was hanging in two parts and falling out of my leather... it was torn in half, zippers torn off jacket and huge welted and burning marks were on my stomach... nothing penetrated but marked up none the less ugly the next morning. She had apparently tried to stab me with a blunted butter knife repeatedly, maybe only urged on the more I laughed at her but I honestly never noticed at the time?!?! Chick wasn't right on the head!!!!!

They have a few of those here, or at least they used to, but they only bring them out on Fri. and Sat. nights to stop drunk people from pissing all over the place.

I was walking through Manchester at about 2 in the afternoon. It might be more a reflection on the Mancunian state of mind than anything else. There are more primitive people there than anywhere else in the UK IMO. Loads of people with the posture of gorillas and the need to piss in front of everyone. I didn't see it anywhere else.

When I was 11-12 my dad was driving me to football training one night and we saw a bloke who had just done a runner from the looney bin charging down the road in his white dressing gown covered in blood carrying a meat clever.

My Dad at the chapel of rest. His face had shrunken in and he looked just like Monkey from Monkey Magic, I could see my mum wanted to laugh when I let that out but she held it in.

A cat dead in the road, hit by a car. Ive seen all variety of animal dead at the roadside but a cat? That shit doesnt happen to cats. Freaked me out no end.
When God said to the both of us "Which one of you wants to be Sugar Ray?" I guess I didnt raise my hand fast enough

There used to be a guy called "spoon man" who was a tramp that liked to lay outside a busy bit of our clubbing strip in Plymouth.

He earned his name by playing table spoons against his bollocks, like drums.

For money he would take musical requests.

That image is still burnt into my brain!

I've also seen spoon man attempt to nosh himself off. That wasn't pretty either.

Having just watched the miracle of birth again recently, I have to say that's one of the weirdest and grossest things you'll ever see.

I've seen a dead man lying on the pavement on Copacabana Beach in Rio, but that didn't really bother me surprisingly.

I also drove past a guy slumped over his steering wheel crashed into the barriers on the M6 near Coventry. This was back in the pre mobile days so I had to get off at the next junction and find a phone box to call an ambulance! That freaked me out at the time.

My ex fiance used to have slight pscychological issues way back when we started going out. I remember she wasn't feeling well after an all nighter at Sundissential in Sheffield so she went back to mine instead of the after party. I spent a good few hours at this party munching pills, smoking skunk and sniffing coke but eventually after 5 or 6 hours I went back home.

When I got home I found her white as a ghost still in her coat rocking back and forth on the edge of my bed in a trance. She was dithering to death and when she saw me she came over and started hugging but she wouldn't let go. She really started to freak me out but I couldn't figure out if it was because I was tripping or if she really had flipped.

Anyways I decided to drive her home but I was totally fucked. I remember driving all the way to hers in 2nd gear at about 20mph becuase I could hardly see the road. When we got back to hers she just looked at me and said just like out a horror film 'I love you baba, please don't be scared of me!'

I swear to fucking god that scared the shit outta me at the time. I know I was wasted but even she admitted years later that she feared for her snaity in those days.
