So 1 last question remains, who here is willing to shell out some cash to watch this shitty matchup?

    Everything happens for a reason.

Haye wasn't happy with all the clauses and shit that the klits were putting into contracts so he's said fuck you I can make money else where. And thats exactly what he's doing.

There is an element of danger in this fight cuz if audley gets that luck punch and KO's Haye, then it really is all over. This is an everything to lose and nothing to gain fight. Haye should win it though and within the first 4 rounds.

No Audley doesn't deserve a title shot, but then neither does shannon briggs, Chris Arreola, Sam Peter (after already squandering two chances by not even bothering to get in shape), sosnowski, Eddie chambers..... I really could go on....

people like lyle and skel and whoever can speculate and take sides and call whoever they like a pussy.

No one on here knows what was in the discussions between the Haye and klit camp. And that is the fact. No one knows. It's just down to hear say and who you do or don't want to believe.

No one is able to say haye is a pussy or haye ducked someone until haye's career is over and we're looking back over it.

You are in cloud cuckoo land. Each of those fighters bolded above has achieved FAR beyond what Audley ever has in the pro ranks. The simple facts are that Haye has talked smack, backed out of fights against the Klits and instead of fighting anyway half way decent, has now decided to fight Audley Harrison. The guy is a sham and you don't need to wait until his career is over to come to that kind of conclusion.

    Of course you do.

He's already fought and won in a Crusierweight and Heavyweight champions backyard and got the win. He's pursued a fight with both Klitshcko's. Why doesn't anybody moan about the rematch clauses the Klitschko's put in or the fact that Haye would only get paid via the UK TV money?

I think Haye has realised he can make a shit load of money fighting 'sure things' (if such a thing exists in Boxing) in the UK in front of 20 odd thousand. So what's wrong with him doing that? Nothing imo, provided he fights a Klitschko afterwards. That's why we have to wait and see. I think he wants to fight either Klitschko in England, and to do that he needs to be a massive draw. In the UK, Harrison is a bigger name than any of the Eastern European fights (with the exception of either Klitschko), and he's a bigger name than any of the American fighters. The PPV will probably generate around £20m in the UK. Add that to the majority share of the gate receipts, and it becomes a no brainer.

Think about it logicaally. If you were Haye, would you want to make £15m-£20m with the opportunity of making even more money against a Klitschko, or even both Klitschko's, or do you want to make £20m from fighting a Klitschko, but then losing and being left with little options. It's a no brainer.

Chances are he'll get knocked out by either Klitschko and then it'll all be over for him. He needs to make his oney now
now, and he needs to have as much in his favour as possible when he comes to sit down to talk with the Klitschko's.

People need to be more patient. For the record, i hope the A-Train beats him. It would be quality.

Ono, there is simply no justification for a fight with Audley Harrison on the back of a win over a 70 year old John Ruiz. It is one of the most shocking matchups in recent history. Even Amir Khan hasn't been stooping as low as this.

The Ruiz fight was supposed to be his gimme and there are at least a dozen better fights than this and that doesn't even mean having to fight one of the Klits. It's extremely crummy matchmaking.

How long has the dude been calling Wladimir out? And how many opportunities has he been given to actually fight Wladimir?

....it just looks bad man, he talks all that shit for YEARS and we still have no fight and have nothing trending towards this fight happening.

Well they sat down and negotiated and Wlad wanted a rematch clause + a fight with his brother + all the non-uk tv money + all the gate receipts from the arena. So when you look at it like that, you could argue that Klitschko isn't that keen on the fight. I'll try and go through it as logically as i can...

If Klitschko wasn't so worried about Haye, why would he demand all of the above to fight him?

Ruiz was a mandatory so I can understand that he gives up the belt his negotiation demands fall a little without a title, but Audley Harrison is a nobody he is now ranked 13 by the WBA but only recently been ranked because of this fight. Harrison on paper for me is ranked 5th maybe 6th in the UK.

He lost to Martin Rogan who was at the time what a 9/10 fight fighter? I would put big money on Chisora, Fury and Sexton all to beat him. I would make Sprott the favouirte if they fought again. I just don't know how you can justify fighting a guy who has beat no one whatsoever. The only way i would accept a fight against a fighter of this class if he was brought in last minute after Hayes original opponent had pulled out.

Oh No it's looking more and more likely by the minute.

And with that I leave and go off to work.

The justification is money. It will sell, and it should be an easy win. Therefore it's great match-making.

A 50/50 split with no futures was a good reason to duck the person you made your name calling out? Haye did was was good for him financially, because Wlad would likely (though not certainly) ruin him, but he destroyed his credibility in the process and turned many of the people who had been cheering for him (myself included after the Ruiz fight) against him.

It's almost as bold as risking to break your teeth while eating yogurt. Still, I would be totally delected if A-Force would win as it would mean we have now a serious contender for one of the worst HW of all time.

You poor poor fella that's all I can say with you Barry your knowledge is quite pathetic in reality. Go have a look at some of them fighters you have stated are no more deserving than Audley record and where they were ranked when they got there shots you clueless mug.

Harrison has never beat a heavyweight ranked in the top 50 ffs, how the fuck does he deserve a title shot?? Please tell me His beat win is against a shot to fucking pieces Danny fucking Williams. Audley was not ranked in the top 20 by any of the Rnaking bodies but as soon as the Haye match was coming along nicely he miraculously appeared in the top ten for the WBA.
