Ono, there is simply no justification for a fight with Audley Harrison on the back of a win over a 70 year old John Ruiz. It is one of the most shocking matchups in recent history. Even Amir Khan hasn't been stooping as low as this.

The Ruiz fight was supposed to be his gimme and there are at least a dozen better fights than this and that doesn't even mean having to fight one of the Klits. It's extremely crummy matchmaking.

How long has the dude been calling Wladimir out? And how many opportunities has he been given to actually fight Wladimir?

....it just looks bad man, he talks all that shit for YEARS and we still have no fight and have nothing trending towards this fight happening.

Well they sat down and negotiated and Wlad wanted a rematch clause + a fight with his brother + all the non-uk tv money + all the gate receipts from the arena. So when you look at it like that, you could argue that Klitschko isn't that keen on the fight. I'll try and go through it as logically as i can...

If Klitschko wasn't so worried about Haye, why would he demand all of the above to fight him?

Ruiz was a mandatory so I can understand that he gives up the belt his negotiation demands fall a little without a title, but Audley Harrison is a nobody he is now ranked 13 by the WBA but only recently been ranked because of this fight. Harrison on paper for me is ranked 5th maybe 6th in the UK.

He lost to Martin Rogan who was at the time what a 9/10 fight fighter? I would put big money on Chisora, Fury and Sexton all to beat him. I would make Sprott the favouirte if they fought again. I just don't know how you can justify fighting a guy who has beat no one whatsoever. The only way i would accept a fight against a fighter of this class if he was brought in last minute after Hayes original opponent had pulled out.

Oh No it's looking more and more likely by the minute.

The justification is money. It will sell, and it should be an easy win. Therefore it's great match-making.
