Hey Brandon Rios is fighting Anthony Peterson? That's an EXCELLENT undercard, oh shit I had no idea! I think Peterson will take him.

The thing is though Lyle you talk as though Haye is the first man to use these tactics.

Ray Leonard used to talk none stop about Thomas Hearns, yet Angelo Dundee wouldn't let them fight until he felt the time was right and the whole world had time to discuss and fantasize over the outcome. He said "we needed this fight to get really juicy first" and it did just that.

The more Haye and Klitschko slag each other off in the press the more people talk about the fight and the more frustrated they get until finally when it is signed (for real) people actually feel relieved that it's going ahead. It's all a game and someone like yourself, who I have no doubt from reading your posts for the last few years has a great knowledge of boxing and it's history, should see straight through. I'd bet if I could talk to Manny Steward one on one in private where no one could publish his comments he'd agree.

The Haye-Klit fights "WILL" happen eventually, I have no doubt, the only problem is I feel that Vitali may well be past it and for that reason Haye will choose him first and beat him IMO. Then the mega fight with Wlad will be huge and whoever wins that (obviously you'll go Wlad I'll go Haye), the biggest winner will be boxing.

I don't act like he's the only one to do it he's just the most annoying. I like Ray Leonard but I also don't like him. I HATE the way he treated Haggler "I'm retired/I'm not retired" lousy bastard for that IMO. With Chicken Little and Wladimir, things have passed "juicy" it's been YEARS since the talking has started, and we're still no closer.

Boxing already has the Pacquiao-Mayweather saga....boxing doesn't need the FAUX drama, we need REAL FIGHTS!

Pac Mayweather is another example to me. I think that fight is a case of "we have to make as much money as we possibly can from it because where do we go after it?" I think that fight will happen next year to be honest and hopefully the Haye Klit fights can too. I don't doubt that they WILL happen though.

As for Leonard I personally thought it was genius. I mean he was moving up in weight to fight the greatest ever MW IMO so he had to get inside his head, and he did just that. Now love him or hate him for it, he did what he set out to do and he got the result.
