    Round 11

Thompson slow off his stool. Rahimov works in hard, relentless, looking to swarm Thompson out now. Thompson goes to the body, toe to toe trading Rahimov lands a nice uppercut, but there is no quit in Thompson he goes back to the jab, cracking left hook from Rahimov. Thompson lands two strong punches. Rahimov trying to head hunt, but Thompson is punching inside and starting to get better, ref steps in to warn for head clashes in the middle of the action

    10-9 Thompson

    107-102 Rahimov

The announcers are being more generous to thompson than I am.

    Now for the main event

    Edrin Dapudong vs. Wilbert Uicab

Dapudong has to be the favorite, but this should be a great fight, Uicab will push him to the brink. (I hope it's a great figt at least)

Both national anthems (Mexico and Philippines) are sung in their entirety, and the crowd respectfully applauds both.

Dapudong gets a warm welcome during his announcement.
Uicab's announcement makes the crowd erupt into applause complete with trumpets playing some mariachi.
