Default What if Zab loses next Fri on ESPN?

What if Zab loses next week Friday the 13th. on ESPN?
Could this be a recipe for disaster? Stay tuned

    Does he still fight Cotto?

And, for those who care, Kessler will be the studio analyst tomorrow on ESPN Friday night fights.

As inconsistent as Judah can be, there's really no chance of this happening imo having seen his opponent. Galvan is a complete bum. He was easily blown out by JCC Jr at 140.. He's short, fat, slow, totally unskilled, and hopeless. Judah will KO him in the first round.. Alot of competent fighters would.

He lost to Baldomir and still got the big fight. I don't see why it would be any different this time should he lose. Which is damn near impossible...

    UPDATE:

I just read that Miguel Cotto will be the guest analyst for the Zab Judah fight.

Miguel Cotto TO Grace ESPN Studios and The Ring Magazine Cover
    by Ricardo Lois

    www.boxingconfidential.com

Puerto Rican welterweight Miguel Cotto has shown his improved mastery of the English language as proven by his recent post fight interviews. The hard work to develop his language skills has paid off as Cotto will be in studio for ESPN’s Friday Night Fights on Friday, April 13.

Friday Night Fights regularly invites boxers into the studio segment of the show to co-host with Brian Kenny, but my memory draws a blank to an occasion when the special co-host has been a Latino who has developed English as a second language.

Cotto’s appearance is logical, with Judah and Cotto facing off on June 9 at New York’s Madison Square Garden during Puerto Rican Day weekend festivities.

More media exposure for Cotto, as it has also been announced that his image will grace the cover of The Ring for the May edition.

I saw an interview with Zab on boxingtalk where he sounded mature and humble. People kept trying to bring up Cotto and what he;s going to do against Cotto. And Zab said he wouldnt do anything to Cotto because he's not training for Cotto. He said "If I don't win April 13th then the Cotto fight won't happen. I've been through this before with the Baldomir fight when I did something stupid and thats never happening again." He went on to say "I had the talent, but if I don't have the mental then it means nothing and thats what's changed, I'm a little more mature now and know what I want out of the sport of boxing." He sounded like he should sound. But he said the same thing after he beat Spinks and his maturity lasted one fight...
