I agree. If you are the challenger then yeah. But then that's easy to say when you ain't fighting for a living. You might be happy to go to work and not get paid for doing your job but I wouldn't be.
Secondly, What if you want to fight the klits and you bring a legit world title, not to mention a huge following (which means revenue) to the table. Do you still deserve to get screwed over in negotiations then?
thirdly, by your reckoning the klits should happily get paid fuck all to fight for haye's title.
See the flaws. They're pretty obvious.
If El Pollo Explosivo ever has the stones to fight Wlad you and the rest of the boxing world will see THE Heavyweight Champion of the world vs England's Got Talent Champion Shit Talker.
You can have fans and still be worthless in this sport and I consider anyone that's still harping on how they beat Enzo Maccarinelli and how that equates to their success as a heavyweight worthless. But by all means, don't believe me, wait and see for yourself.
#1 As with everyone else (bar maybe Rahman because of his fights with Lewis and Williams with his fight vs Tyson) the Klitschko's give their challengers the highest pay days of their careers and the same will be true with Chicken Little whenever he gets rid of that yellow streak that runs down his injured back.
#2 Yeah we'll have to see if that ever happens, because the way I see it Ruslan Chagaev was never beaten and his title never should have been taken from him (thank you Don King and the WBA for expiditing that so that a DKP/Sauerland fighter could get the title back). Wladimir fought Ruslan, Wladimir stopped Ruslan, ergo the physical belt may belong to Chicken Little but the title of Heavyweight Champion of the World belongs to Wladimir.
#3 When El Pollo Explosivo sells more than 20,000 seats (which he's never done) he MAY have a right to ask for 70-30.
But hell, all this is erroneous anyway we all know he's fighting a rematch vs Valuev next, that's what Don King will want.
