Agreed. Got a feeling Chisora will accept though because he, like many before him, will believe he can land a big shot on Wlads questionable chin and take the World title. The problem is once he's stood there in front of you, it becomes a lot harder job to land that big money shot than first imagined and Chisora will find out that the gap between someone like Sexton and Wlad is way bigger than he first thought.
I'm only basing this on one fight, but I saw nothing in the Sexton rematch that makes me think Chisora has the power to hurt Wlad with one punch. His chin is nowhere near that bad.
Chisora has decent power. And weighing 230+lbs, I'm pretty confident he could hurt Wlad. Not saying it would ever happen, just that if Wlad made a big mistake and was countered by Derek he definitely has the power to hurt him.

I really hope this doesn't happen. I like Derek Chisora, I think he's a really exciting edition to the domestic fight scene.

He is in now way ready to face a Klitschko. Let him have some exciting British fights and gain some experience.

I imagine he would take the fight though if offered. I mean everyone would expect him to lose so he can't really lose anything in this fight. And he could easily fall short at some point if he tries to patiently work his up the ranks.

I wouldn't blame him for taking it at all, but if he does it's just for a payday and some immediate recognition which means he might be more of a name fighter if he holds his own for a bit.

I don't know. Sam Peter hit Klitschko flush with a cheap shot on a break and Wlad didn't even blink.

Yeah one punch is not going to do it, you better be comming with something behind it. There were a few occasions where wlad got taged by one shot here and one shot there by peter, wich didn't seem to bother him to much. As for the fight don't know much about chisora but sounds like he's way to young and inexperienced.

Watch the Sexton v Chisora first match on youtube and the commentators make a point of saying that neither is a puncher.

Chisora has no chance, hes not a puncher and gets hit.

Iv actually just watched the ending and Chisora must have landed about 20 clean shots and still couldnt drop Sexton!! Hes just not a puncher at all.

I never said he was a thunderous puncher. I said he has DECENT power. That is all you would need to KO Wlad.

He shows DECENT power against Danny Williams here!

Danny Williams was shot to pieces and everyone he fought has wobbled him anyway.

As a fan I'm not worried about the level of competition Wlad and Manny choose for this fight because as I stated Manny is changing the way Wlad fights again and you could see bits of it vs Sam Peter, he didn't wait to throw power punches, he used the left hook and uppercut more, etc. This will take a little time to fully impliment but it's not keeping Wlad from fighting anyone meaningful...if there was a meaningful fight out there Wlad would take it and Manny would continue to try and tweak Wlad's style. As I've said before a fight vs Chisora is a glorified sparring match.

Once this transition in Wlad's game is complete he'll look like a polished version of this

I don't see Wlad ever going back to this style of fighting, too many risks and counter opportunities for his opponent IMO. Like I said though I really hope he does!
