Also people saying there was no ppv in his days at his weight Well that's my point Nothing you can do about the eras/circumstances the fact of the matter is Hatton is more well known in the world of boxing than Tapia FACT, no matter who thinks who is better that's just the way it is.

Yes Tapia is a well known fighter but not even close to being as known as Hatton, Hatton is a much bigger name.
Hatton made his name beating old fighters no longer in there prime. The list is long. Freddie Pendleton, Vince Phillips, Ben Tackie, Kostya Tszyu, Jose Luis Castillo and Juan Lazcano. Hatton never beat an elite fighter who was in his prime. His best win over a fighter still in his prime is the one over the one-dimensional, crude Juan Urango. Collazo beat him. Malignaggi was an ok win. But Cotto had already bashed him good. And by all rights Paulie should of been coming off a loss to Lovemore N'dou. Hatton remains one of the most overrated fighters in the last 50 years.
either you know nothing about boxing or you have something against hatton, id say its probably the former although maybe a bit of both
Another one. I thought this place was rid of all the "Hatton is my God" posters. Guess not. Anyway, go ahead and make a fool of yourself . Tell me how the following fighters mentioned (Castillo, Pendelton, Lazcano..etc) were all really in there primes and would of beaten any fighter not named Ricky Hatton the night they faced him
you could say the same about many other fighters including mayweather and pac

hatton had a fantastic carear beating some top contenders along the way and beating them in style, not least tzu who was considered the best of the best at the time of the fight. he also built a massive fan base in britain because of his personality and the excitement he brought to the ring

be happy dude and try not to be too jealous of his achievements
