Cool clicks

I do like having the CC system back because it's just so easy. But one thing we must all try to avoid is the whole "Ooh, I really liked that post so here's a CC" business. It's just a vain attempt to get a CC back in return and is incredibly gay. We all used to do it, but should start a movement to stop this happening again. It's nice to read threads with points well made, but I don't really want every second post to be saying "Good post, CC" or "I agree, CC". If you like a post then just click it and if you hate it just click it.

It's okay to do it every now and then like CFH did above as that's most likely a one off. However, if he started to do that to everybody all the time, then we would likely need to bring our movement against him too.

I am truly a hypocrite. Age makes us come full circle. From youthful and idealistic, to cranky and cynical. I just think differently now and was doing what everyone else did. It's okay for a young man in his 20's, but for one in his 30's? Nah.

Also, you can just click randomly with the clicks anytime you want. With the rep you have to wait ages if you are not in the habit of constantly giving out reps. That's my major bug with rep. I just tried doing it now and I can't because I last gave rep too soon before. Even in the old days you could always cool click again after 24hours no matter what, but the reps just don't let you do that.
