    ok heres mine

theres nothing wrong with the HW division, in fact the two at the top are as good as (if not better than) any in history, there arent as many names running down the order but that is because the two at the top are so dominant and its harder to make a name in big fights when titles arent on the line

america is the centre of the world as far as boxing is concerned, and historically, they have always had the heavyweight champ.

The HW division will be considered rubbish by americans (where most of the "experts" ply their trade) until an american heavyweight at least looks like having a slight chance of winning a version of the title

all this talk about the HW division being crap is american propaganda

    I whole heartedly agree erics44!

    Prime example Bert Sugar

Bert says "Primo Carnera kills Klitschko"

Bert says "People will still want to see Jones-Hopkins II" and that "Jones-Hopkins II could rival Ali-Frazier III and Leonard-Hearns II"

    Que Ridiculo!

So are you saying that you think the Heavyweight division is still Boxings premier division?

no, but im saying the reason that it isnt is more to do with the americans being rubbish than the whole division being rubbish

    I cant stand Bert Sugar!

I'm starting to feel that Boxing will suffer in the long run if HBO continue to not show any heavyweight fights. I know there are worse things happening in boxing but at this point it's very unrealistic for HBO to assume that boxing coverage can resume without people knowing who the Heavyweight champion of the world is!

I agree that the K-Bros are the best out there and would probably beat every previous heavyweight champ bar Lennox Lewis but thats just due to the simple fact that they are all (The K-Bros & Lewis) very comfortable in their 6ft 5ins+, 240lbs+ frames in which they hold considerable advantages in.

I'm rantin on again... I apologise

Only the 70s and 90s were the HW division considered to be very strong. Aside from that the HW division has been similar to this era, a dominant HW champ and lackluster competition to challenge them. Don't believe me? See Joe Louis and his bum of the month club era. Holmes dominated the first half of the 80s, but who did he fight? Tyson dominated the latter half of the 80s, again who did he fight? Marciano dominated his era, but he fought mainly old and shot hws. Dempsey dominated his era but fought mainly bums. Tha'ts how the HW division has always been.

Oh yeah I have to give credit to Big H for pointing this out in some thread, so credit to BigH for making a valid point and I thought it over and he was right.

Don't Worry. It's about to get cleaned up again. Martin Rogan is back! Audley Harrison getting a title shot against Haye is a joke. Rogan beat Harrison, then beat Skelton, then was the true winner against Sexton. All those fat heavyweights watch your back!!

BBC Sport - Martin Rogan to fight on Limerick bill in November
