How many times did bernard hopkins used to price himself out of contracts and make silly demands? He was notorious for being difficult to make fights with. I personally think klit took a leaf out of his book when at the negotiating table. But of course NO ONE wants to even entertain that thought.

The fight is worth too much to both for it not to happen. Seeing as at this point in time neither are dodging steroid tests or looking at jail time I think it is gonna happen as long as haye doesn't get KO'ed or beaten by audley.

In a previous thread another poster pointed out how ALL the big fights in modern heavyweight history took a long time to negotiate and happen (tyson v holyfield) springs to mind, and I don't see this being any different. It will happen.

I'd say theres more a lot more chance of this fight happening than pac and mayweather.

HAHAHAHA are you seriously trying to compare Hopkins to Haye or Wlad? at the end of the day Hopkins made fights happen, and if one wasn't made right away (the Jones rematch) he followed it up with a good (if not better) replacement (Tarver, Calzaghe, Pavlik, etc.)
Wlad at least takes on decent opposition (hell he's cleaned out his top 10 pretty much)

Wlad's last 3 opponents: Chagaev, Chambers, and Peter
Haye's last 3 opponents: Brewster, Valuev, and Ruiz

and lets not forget Wlad was scheduled to take on both Haye and Povetkin until both turned and ran like bitches, hell at least Atlas had to balls to say he pulled Povetkin out of the fight cause he wasn't ready, he didn't have his fighter fake a fucking injury

umm due to bad PPV numbers Roy Jones pretty much fought B-Hop for free in the rematch

John Ruiz wasn't even sure if he was gonna get paid for his fight against Jones Jr.

i'm not biased, hell i'm not even a Klitschko fan, you on the other hand seem to have a hard on for Haye, so um yea good luck with that
