Here a Tale of the Tape stat that is missing.

    The 'unofficial' ring weight?

    Pacquiao 148.5 lbs
    Margarito 171 ± lbs

Pacquiao is going to beat Margarito easy and it wont be much of a fight. Not like Margarito even uses his height.

It's funny Pac fans are the ones big upping Margarito now.

This fight is much less dangerous for him than Cotto was. Yes Margarito is big and throws a lot of punches, but his defense is horrible and his movement is limited to walking forward, not to mention Pacs hand speed is ridiculously faster. Pacquiao has all the skill advantages, Margo just has the Valuev advantages.

'Just hyping it a bit. It's been boring lately. But you're right. I guess Margarito's only/main advantage is his size. I'm 100% sure that he'll use that asset to rough up pac. We might see some dirty tactics from Marg.

The ref will play a big role. I hope Texas comm won't even think of assigning referee by the name of Laurence Idiot Coleman.

'We will prove everybody wrong on November 13'- Robert Garcia Interview

It is customary for true competitors to relish opportunities to go up against the best. Although some do duck and dodge, but true winners are those who can only find real value in the level of competition associated with victory. Well, Antonio Margarito's trainer Roberto Garcia is no stranger to competition; He is after all a former World Super Featherweight Champion. I can still recall his classic battle with the much bigger and superior Diego Coralles and how the tough and feisty Garcia gave him all that he could handle when he kept coming forward and rocked the late boxing great only to come up short in the end. Garcia relishes competition, and would never quit or pull a Dela Hoya at the first sign of defeat. He is what a true Mexican Warrior in every sense of the distinction.

So it isn't a surprise that the 35-year-old trainer from Oxnard, California is bringing the same fiery and competitive mindset when he guides his ward Margarito into battle against the best fighter in the planet as of the moment. Not only that, Garcia is chomping at the bit to go head-to-head anew with the man who is widely considered as the best boxing trainer of this era in Freddie Roach. I spoke to Garcia recently and this is what he had to say about facing Pacquiao and Roach:

"I've had a couple of fighters fight fighters trained by Freddie Roach, for me I consider it a big challenge going up against the best trainer in the world, because for me I consider him the best trainer in the world and he's proved it with Manny Pacquiao, with Amir Khan and he's made Chavez Jr. look great, so he is a great trainer but both times I've gone against him with fighters he trained, I beat him and now this is the real test: Margarito against Pacquiao. Pacquiao is the man, not only for Margarito, but also for me. I'm also excited about it. Not only am I studying Manny Pacquiao, I'm also studying Freddie Roach. I already have an idea how he thinks, how he works, so all that is going to be working in our advantage. I know very few people give us a chance but we will prove everybody wrong on November 13. We are going there and show that were in there for the long run, for a good win and hopefully be a champion after that."

Margarito and Garcia both have a lot to prove while Pacquiao and Roach have been the staple of excellence for quite some time now. We definitely know which camp will be more motivated coming into November 13, but will it be enough to upset this era's best boxer-trainer tandem? Like former Dallas Cowboy Terrell Owens said, "get you popcorns ready". And this Texas gunfight will definitely be nothing like the one-sided snoozer Pacquiao-Clottey turned out to be last March.

never, ever think that it is a given that one fighter will win over the other in boxing. especially the way pacquiao fans are saying this is going to be an easy fight etc...i think the more margarito isn't given much of a chance with public opinion the more it's going to motivate him to no end. don't be surprised if margarito shocks the world and KO's pacquiao come november 13th. i will not make any predictions because i know in boxing anything can happen. the way some people sound as if margarito isn't going to get any clean shots in. joshua clottey sure as hell did, and he hardly through any punches and he happened to mark up pacquiao's face up pretty bad. margarito throws 5-6 times the amount of punches clottey throws and he fights going forward whereas clottey is mainly a defensive fighter first. here's what i honestly see, even if pacquiao does happen to beat margarito, he's going to take such a beating that pacquiao's people, friends and family are going to try to talk him into retiring.

Nothing wrong with hyping it up. The undercard looks pretty good to boot.

You honestly see Margarito will walk all over him to the point that Manny's family and friends will ask him to retire. But you won't make a prediction? That's a load of confidence there.

    PSL,

unlike yourself who has only been a boxing fan since pacquiao came unto the scene, i know that anything can happen in the sport of boxing. and yes, i am confident that margarito can win but i also know pacquiao is an equally dangerous fighter. as far as making predictions, i will hardly ever make a prediction on a fight because unlike pacquiao's fans, who sometimes get sexually aroused whenever pacquiao knocks down a SPARRING partner, i know all it takes is one punch to turn a fight around. another thing, most pacquiao fans have very little knowledge of boxing. here's an example. just because A beats B, and C beats A, automatically it's a given that C will beat B. OR, because mosley knocked out margarito, it's automatic that pacquiao will do the same to margarito. see, things like this make it impossible to take any or most pacquiao fans serious. for all they know, pacquiao is boxing and when he retires, they will no longer have any more interest in the sport.

even before pacquiao, filipinos have been big fans of boxing. ali, leonard and tyson also had almost the same effect before as manny does now where there was less traffic and crimes in the philippines during their fights. of course it's only natural that manny would be bigger here because he is a kababayan. but then ater he retires life would go on and filipinos would still be boxing fanatics.

This fight would be competitive for say maybe 1 round, this fight is a total mismatch. Of course the crazy thing is that 2 years ago if anyone had said that a Pac-Margarito fight would be such a mismatch for Margarito you would be laugh at. Other than height and size Margo really doesn't have anything going for him.
