you're the one calling her a slut and not laying any blame or double standard on hatton. Hypocrite.
Do you have any idea how much in the gutter the gutter press operate?![]()

You miss the point Missy. I'm not criticising her having an affair, that's their choices. I'm criticising her for reporting it to the press.
Would you secretly film your secret love snorting cocaine and then sell the story to the newspaper? Would you then reveal you had a love affair with him and have the gall to say to Ricky's supporters, 'I know Ricky can get through this tough time, he's a fighter' blah blah?
It's a tough time that SHE put him in, for CASH and REVENGE presumably.
I think Ricky will have come off far worse in this. Emma was a nobody who can now look forward to some modelling contracts with Farming Weekly and a stint on at least one reality show.
Ricky, will probably have to lower himself to appearing on the same show to rebuild his shattered media image, I'm a Celebrity beckons, for the media man-whore.
I have pretty much said Fuck Ricky Hatton too. Not for taking cocaine. Not for sleeping around.
But just for being a spineless, lying coward who fucked off to rehab leaving his dad to cry for the cameras and then paints himself as a helpless victim to depression that is seemingly taking over his will power.
If he'd have been a man about it and told the NOTW to do one, I'd respect him.

This whole story reads like a film script. Succesful boxer loses, turns to drugs and then cheats on his fiancee with a woman who understands.
Didn't Hatton hire Max Clifford as an agent for the coke stuff - great agent he turned out to be or was it Ricky taking the mans way out and letting the fiancee find out via the papers. (Ricky, a text would have been cheaper)
Money, fame they do funny things and when you ain't got a job, that keeps you focused for weeks on end and has dominated your life since a teenage maybe you feel the urge to let go and have some fun. While most people spend there late teens/early twenty's doing sod all, drinking and taking drugs - Hatton made a career and made a shitload of money.
Maybe just maybe now he wants some fun and can afford to do it.![]()

Bottom line: They are both guilty of this unfortunate situation. Wouldn't be from Emma, the story would have popped out anyway in another way. Emma is guilty of high betrayal for selling a friend/lover to the dogs for a handful of dollars and Ricky is guilty for having handled his life poorly making the stupidest choices possible, knowing that attention was on him as he was a public figure and to make the coward move to hire a publicist to tell him how to cry and when to appear doing so.

That sums it up well.
They are all a bunch of low life idiots to me. You do stupid things then eventually you have to pay a price. She has made a bit of money, but now looks like trash. Meanwhile Hatton has completely destroyed his reputation. They did it to themselves and deserve sympathy from no one. The drugs thing I thought 'not cool, but fair enough', but having grown up in an environment with a wanton playboy of a father, cheating is something that I find loathsome. Just break up the relationship first if you want to do that.
