The Kessler fight for me was fair enough close fight hard to judge, Kessler was pressing the action and him winning the close rounds was fair enough, but If Sauerland is having this much influence with the WBC ( I don't blame the guy, getting every advantage possible for his fighter ) I just fucking hope we don't see that bent fat ugly cunt as a judge Tilleman.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion as you know but i honestly think froch battered Kessler from pillar to post and should have won a wide decision, i cannot see how anyone could have kessler winning the fight never mind by the scores a couple of the judges had it

it is a bit worrying that that could happen again

but i also think that AA got nowhere near Dirrell and his performance against Taylor was good but was taylor really at the races? i think taylor looked jaded from his recent KO losses

how good is AA? who has he fought at middleweight, edison mirranda? an old howard eastman?

i think he will have to show some steel to come through the fight and (aside from taylor) i dont think he has been in with anyone anywhere near as good as froch (queue the froch haters)

a level playing field i would put my house on a froch UD
Like you say everyone is entitled to there opinion on the Kessler fight, now he did not beat him from piller to post, that's why Kessler was forcing th fight on the front foot for the whole 12 rounds , surely if that as the case Froch would of stopped him taking the centre of the ring?

Anyway thats gone we move on, my problem with that fight was Froch got beat ( or if you want was in a close fight ) with a fighter who looked a shadow of his former self, Kessler looked old against Ward and just as bad against Froch when I say that I compare this to the Kessler we saw stand Andrade on his head and the one who was sharp against Calzaghe.

Froch pre Kessler I have him beating AA, now I lean towards AA. Froch looked a change fighter in there for me his usually great engine went missing in the middle rounds and in the later rounds was fighting with heart and a second wind.

I think the last two years might have caught up with Froch he has been in 4 back to back full 12 rounds with very very good opponents he is now 33 years old, I want Froch to win and he deffo has a chance but I do have my doubts which I hope are wrong.
see all people ever say is kes was forcing the fight, on the front foot, and on the front foot is all i can give him, but he hardly landed any punches, i dont think he lands a punch of any note till the 6th

yep 6, 7 and 8 are kesslers best rounds but 9, 10 and 11 froch wins clearly so i dont think he engine failed him

i think on a level playing field the worry for me is froch does take too many punches in some fights and AA seems to have a dig, especially late on

and putting my house on it was a bit over the top, it could well be frochs hardest fight so far
Punch stats say differently.

Kessler landed more punches and had the better percentage according to the stats.

Kessler - Total Thrown: 765, Total Connects: 147 (19%)
Froch - Total Thrown: 546, Total Connects: 98 (18%)

Kesslers accuracy in this fight is exactly my point, he is usually a pin point crisp puncher with great accuracy and in this fight he was slow and didn't land as much as he usually does and that against a guy in Froch whose defense is his jaw.
