Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.
Yes that was on the old school Setanta I remmeber it.
Thing is what card is worthy for ppv in your eyes? In terms of PPV even with the shit opponents for the brits this is still far better than your average £15 ppv, go have a look at the Haye Harrison undercard which will be the same price that is a shocking ppv card and makes this one look like a £100 ppv compared to that shite.
Any news on the Pac v Marg fight being on sky, because if that is the case I would subscribe for a month and watch and record the repeats of all these.
I would only really pay for world class fighters like a Don King show with JCC, Norris all on etc
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.
Well lets look at what will be on that night...
First the British fights
DeGale vs Smith (British Supermiddleweight Title)
Macklin vs TBA (Unlikely to be Barker, European Title defence)
Bellew vs TBA (Not McIntosh, Commonwealth Title defence)
Brook vs TBA (Not Theopane, WBO Intercontinental defence)
Gavin vs TBA (For WBO Intercontinental)
Cleverly vs TBA (For Interim WBO Light Heavyweight Title)
Then cross to Germany for
Chisora vs Klitschko
And later on in the early hours over to Vegas for...
Ortiz vs ?? (possibly Kotelnik)
Kirkland vs ??
Khan vs Maidana
Well worth £15 for me. I'm going to Haye-Harrison but I wish that had this kind of undercard. Not even going to have Groves to watch this time round as he's on Sky the week before. And then I'll have to come home to pay for the pay per view anyway to see Pacquiao!!
Oh shit forgot Pac was same night as Haye so yes suppose that will be worth it to as the top rank undercard is solid.
Yeah but I'll be driving so I can get home to see Pac so there will be no drinking for me at the MEN
I've been hearing rumours that Audley is having sponsors printed on the soles of his boots (ala Julius Francis vs Tyson). If true that is not a great display of confidence for a man who's destiny it is to be HW champ![]()

Roy upto that point was one of the greatest fighters ever. Had it been Lennox he took on I don't think he would have stood a chance but for me he was always going to beat Ruiz. If the fight went on 25 rounds I don't think Ruiz would have got a look in, Roy was just too hard to pin down and Ruiz wasn't that kind of guy anyway.
It was the way his career suddenly lost momentum after that fight that shocked me at the time. Looking back he was too old to put his body through what he did and he should have rEtired after the Ruiz fight and not ever tried to lose 25lbs of sheer mucle to make LHW, IMO now he would be regarded up there with the likes of SRR had he done that!!
