What a douchebag thing to say, how could you root against these legends? F you. I would love it if Barrera or Morales were to somehow pull it off, and become the first 4 division mexican champion.
how am i being a douchebag? i'd rather both guys retire and enjoy the rest of their lives in good health than to fight ANY of the current champs and risk permanent damage, if anything you're just another blood thirsty selfish "fan" who doesn't give a shit about their well being, i don't wanna see either guy end up like McClellan or like Ali
Morales and Barrera are far from being punchy, Barrera is a freaking host on sports shows all the time and talks fine. They want to go down in history and be assured of HOF status(which they both make IMO)and to be the first. Why, if its what they want am I bloodthirsty? I want to see them achieve their dreams, so you can go screw yourself saying I don't care about them.

McClellan was far from being punch when he stepped in against Benn, same goes for Ali against Holmes or Berbick, it only takes one fight to permanently fuck up a fighter for life, Morales and Barrera ARE NO WHERE CLOSE TO WHERE THEY USED TO BE, and no way in hell are they going to beat the likes of Khan, Bradley, Alexander, or any top fighter at 140, much less at 147, both guys looked noticeably smaller at 135, so it's just a ticking time bomb until they step up against someone at 147 or even 140 who could badly hurt either guy, and seeing how neither one is known from backing down during a fight it would make it just that much worse, i'd be ecstatic if Morales was able to capture a title in his 4th weight class (something he already did before getting screwed against David Diaz), but i wouldn't ant it to come at the expense of their health

Ok, maybe I misread, I was under the impression you wanted to see them lose. Using McClellan isnt helping your arguement, if thats the case no one should box because they might get brain damage. Ali on the other hand was already slurring and mumbling before he retired for the first time. He went on to fight too long, thats for sure. I dont think they are at their best forms either but TBH Khan and Maidana are winnable fights. Khan's chin is questionable, and Maidana cant box very well.

i'm not saying that i would want them to lose, it would be awesome if either guy (Morales' especially) was able to come back and win a title and set a record and further enhance an already HOF worthy career, just like i stated the risk isn't worth the reward, they already had incredible careers, both are ATG worthy fighters, they should just enjoy their retirement

Hmm.. that's weird. Why it's not letting me check who voted who? Is the poll suppose to be anonymous now?

One guy actually voted Paulie by KO.

Having watched Morales fight recently, I don't see how anyone can say he is not a shot fighter. Barrera, while not as shot, is no where near the fighter he once was either. Both are legends with huge hearts...but both of them are also a reminder of how hard it is for once great fighters to step away when they no longer have any business fighting.

I agree Morales may be lacking in power at the higher weight but he is still a clever strong fighter. The shots the body against Limmond would have stopped Malignaggi and a few other names at welter too.

All Morales needs is another sharpening up fight and hes ready. It took him a few rounds to get in to the Limmond fight, where he was facing someone who was using alot of movement. I believe the next fight his sharpness is there much earlier in the fight. Hes building up some momentum.

In fact, hes looking to face Jorge Barrios at 138lb in December then a lightweight title fight with Marquez next year

The guy who voted Paulie KO was me. Is it really that implausible?. Do you forget the consumate ease with which Pac totally destroyed Morales in their last bout. Who has morales fought since that would remotely suggest that he can operate at a decent level, and a decent level above his weight class. A loss to the pedestrian David Diaz, A Welterweight points win against Jose Alfaro who was pretty much a career Lightweight and then a stoppage win at light Welter against an at best UK domestic level Willie Limond who is also a Lightweight.

Morales is completely shot for me, and yes, I believe that Paulie could have him in trouble when you add the shot nature of Morales and the fact he is punching a little above his weight class against Paulie, who still has good movement and timing.....
