There you go, Dirrell hurting Froch Not that this was overly significant in the fight IMO, its not like Froch was on the verge of being stopped or anything, he recovered pretty quickly and finished the round throwing punches. But he was visibly rocked by that left hand.
point is Dirrell landed shots like that one more than once, the only thing is the jittery bastard wouldn't follow up, i never said he was in danger of getting stopped, but that's more due to Dirrell's lack of punches more than it was Froch's chin, IMO Froch has a very average chin at best
Come on mate, his chin's better than average. Kessler and Pascal hit him with some absolute monster shots. I mean Hatton supposedly had a good chin, yet practically everytime he was hit cleanly at world level he was rocked. Froch has taken clean bombs whilst he himself has been in the motion of throwing, and still recovered quickly.

Not saying Abraham won't knock him out, but i think labelling his chin as average at best is a little harsh.
Agreed. He has a better than average chin. He withstood Kessler and Pascal's biggest punches.

My thing is that because he continues to keep his left hand low and in general his defense is porous, he leaves himself open to big punches, and Abraham packs a wallop. Froch has too much toughness for his own good. TO win this, he should be content to win rounds and hold on to some energy for the final rounds. Either way, it should be a barn-burner of a scrap. I'll root for Froch, but I see Abraham getting to him late.

alright maybe i exaggerated a bit, but his chin still isn't solid iron, and lets not rule out how tough of a SOB Abraham is, he fought 8 rounds with his jaw hanging, against a guy who was a monster puncher at the time, IMO Abraham is the faster one of the two, he has good movement, and he'll hurt Froch and stop him in the later rounds

I wouldn't argue with that to be honest. I think Abraham is more likely to knock Froch than Froch is to knock Abraham out. They're both capable of it though.
