Come on Daxx Hagler lost the first half of the fight and came on late in the Leonard fight. I think it was chicken shit he left because he lost a close fight to a fucking one eyed Leonard.

Plus, Marvin fought in the Golden Era of his division while Monzon did not. All those guys he fought, and nobody even hurt the man.

Mr. Hagler was one of the most physically fit fighters I ever saw and he trained anywhere he could not be seen in public He was never distracted and even when he lost earlier in his career, he never deviated from his fight plan. He was what I describe as tenacious. He knew how many rounds he needed to fight and he was alwys prepared. A natural middleweight never out of shape. He fought whoever was ranked, he avoided no one.
