It's one thing to talk shit, but to talk shit constantly and not back it up is something else.
Yeah but people aren't patient enough to give him chance to back it up. It's like people hang on every word he says and then end up upset over the fact he isn't fighting Klitschko next. It's all bullshit to sell fights. The Klitschko's are playing the same game. They're just less obvious with it.
When did the klits called out the legit champ for 2.5 years at the division, gets an opportunity and come up with numerous excuses? I might have missed that. And 2.5 years is more than enough time and patience. So what time period should we give Haye? 3 years? 4 years? 5 years? 7 years? When the Klits are too old or shot?
You know it and I know it, when Haye fights Holyfield at Wembley next, it will be all kinds of excuses such as it's a money making fight, Holyfield can do what Foreman did, Wlad offered a bad contract, wlad is a coward, blah blah blah.
Like i said it's more subtle. Inserting numerous clauses into a contract which they know Haye will turn down, and then saying they'd love to fight him. Then you have Vitali taking on Shannon Briggs and Wlad taking on Derek Chisora. Complete bankers. Almost zero chance of losing. Doesn't put the Haye fight into any sort of danger. Haye is doing the same thing.
It wouldn't surprise me if Haye did fight Holyfield next and it wouldn't surprise me if he billed it like he was fighting a prime rejuvinated Holyfield. I understand that that's how promotion works and Haye is good enough at it to sell himself to the UK market.
It still wouldn't make me think he is a fraud. He's doing what anyone else would do. Making big money for the easiest possible fight on the way to the biggest fight of them all. Of course he'll want to delay a Klitschko fight. They're not getting any younger. He probably even wants home advantage, and that's why it's in his interest to carry on defending his belt and filling arenas.
I would only consider him a fraud if he was genuinely convincing me he was definitely going to fight either Klitschko next. But he isn't. He's doing what anybody would do. Stop falling for his bullshit
