Be that as it may Daxx, I've got to disagree with the direction Teddy is taking Povetkin. Sasha is 31 years old, a former Gold medalist, and has a pretty solid pro record of 20 (15 KO)-0-0, but the guy has gone from fighting a difficult Larry Donald, a game Chris Byrd, and a very tough Eddie Chambers to the likes of: Taurus Sykes, Jason Estrada, Leo Nolan, Javier Mora, and Teke Orah...and it's not as if he's fighting very often either (which was one of Teddy's original goals).

This heavyweight division may not have much in the way of challenges for guys like Wlad and Vitali, but it still has PLENTY of challenges out there for guys like Povetkin and I am just shocked Teddy hasn't wanted to test his fighter AT ALL. I get the whole "I don't want a Klitschko to ruin my fighter" mentality but Teke Oruh?!?!?! Who the fuck is that? I follow the division and had never heard of the guy! Why not fight a seasoned veteran fighter that can give him rounds? That's what he needs he needs some ring experience. Dig up Krasniqi or Lyakhovich I think they'd give him good work, Povetkin should at LEAST be working towards the European title....he could (should) beat Dimitrenko and that would be great practice for him.
